August 7, 20197 yr This is one of the most ridiculous suggestions I've seen. ANTI was only 3 years ago and was big - perhaps not her biggest ever, but Work is one of her biggest hits and the follow-up singles have deceivingly low peaks for how big they were. She's taken her time with this album because she hasn't NEEDED to rush it. It's not much longer than the gap between Unapologetic and ANTI in fact. It's nothing to do with her age, she's one of the biggest names in the world and with the right material, her new era's going to be another big one. (also, Taylor's 29, but I suppose her brand new label will sideline her after 13th December this year :( :( :( ) It's a ridiculous argument. Imagine thinking Rihanna is over the hill when she's effortlessly succeeding outside of music and at her most respected? She'll return to music when she wants to and will obviously be a priority to her label. How silly. It's also silly to think Ariana is some puppet her label is milking when she's clearly just making music with her friends and fortunate enough to have the machine behind her whenever she wants to drop something. It's the way the industry is going.
August 7, 20197 yr I am so pleased to see Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello now ahead of Ariana Grande and sitting at Number 1. Kygo and Whitney Houston need to hold their position or climb further and the same for Kylie on the album chart.
August 7, 20197 yr Woohooo so happy that Senorita has over taken Ariana - Boyfriend so doesn't deserve to go number one... it's such an average song
August 7, 20197 yr Sam is still top 10? No - he'd be in the update otherwise. Right now he's set to non-move at 11.
August 7, 20197 yr Jax Rexha to remain top 40 and Joel Corry to miss the top 20 please Edited August 7, 20197 yr by Hadji
August 7, 20197 yr No - he'd be in the update otherwise. Right now he's set to non-move at 11. Joseph's prediction being wrong again !!!!!!!!! #getyogt
August 7, 20197 yr Joel Corry and Krept and Konan to drop behind Freya so she stays Top 20 please Quite a lot of streaming missing so how reliable are the gaps?
August 7, 20197 yr I just gratefully not 3 lot of drake Hope Sam feldt not to far away Edited August 7, 20197 yr by Djcheekymagpie
August 7, 20197 yr Hope Sam feldt not to far away He's comfortably top 50 but has no chance of going top 40 this week.
August 7, 20197 yr Glad to see the social media campaign will almost certainly get Aitch that T10, though it's a shame it's at the expense of Sam Smith; fingers crossed Sam can climb up next week (when Aitch potentially drops out/due to lack of other 'big' releases [unless I'm missing an obvious one!]).

Well there is 'suposedly' a big female singer returning this week which is rumored ot be Rhianna or Adele.
August 7, 20197 yr I Don't Care and Bad Guy are going to re-enter ACR next week so Sam Smith should very easily go top 10 either way.
August 7, 20197 yr They were wrong last time, hopefully their wrong again.. MATE. There is no wrong answer in the updates we receive; these are official midweek updates. Data is missing, yes, but we are all aware of this and Friday's chart position is usually different to what is confirming during the week. The updates and positions stated by the OCC and Music Week in the lead up to Friday are not wrong.

So..Is Sam 100% sure not going Top ten this week, Of that’s the case with the missing data, he was predicted by OCC or whatever that he was gonna drop at #13 yet rose to #11, I just need to know if Sam has a chance? Edited August 7, 20197 yr by Yog
August 7, 20197 yr Author Midweeks are not predictions. They give an insight into how well everything is selling so far in the week. Sam increased his position as last week went on, this week he has merely been leapfrogged by Aitch. He will go top 10 at some point though I don't believe he will this week (but I know little more than you do...)
