'hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but i have it' feels about right, it's nice enough but doesn't quite hold its own amongst so many excellent songs. I really enjoy Lana's 'Blue Velvet' cover, but again, the line-up is so strong that I probably would've targeted it in a few rounds time.

Also, can we just remind ourselves that Mariner's Apartment Complex is incredibly layered, with song references throughout? Candle in the Wind and I'm your man are the most obvious, but there are so many all throughout!

It's a bit dreary, isn't it? I know Lana's music is often moody but it shouldn't be at the expense of melody or feeling.
