August 27, 20197 yr Yes agree ed’s label are very smart A bit like Westlife used to be Talented? Sure but as a money-maker machine Nothing to do with good songwriting or real music He writes his own music (and lots of other artists music too) he plays guitar, he is heavily involved in his music. To say he isn't a good songwriter or doesn't make 'real music' is laughable.
August 27, 20197 yr Actually you can say he isn’t a good songwriter if you don’t like any of his songs. I can’t stand his writing and I don’t think it’s that impressive. There are so many great songwriters out there who just get ignored.
August 27, 20197 yr 1 Taylor Swift – Lover (36k) 2 Ed Sheeran – No 6 Collaborations Project 3 Lewis Capaldi – Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent 4 New Model Army – From Here 5 Headie One – Music X Road OCC
August 27, 20197 yr The midweek chart hasn’t updated on the OCC site yet - where is Kylie please?
August 27, 20197 yr G'won BROCKHAMPTON *.* 'iridescence' ended up at #20 so hopefully this will out-peak that. Massive Attack also
August 27, 20197 yr What did Taylor's last album open with? Early sales look decent for her. Reputation opened with 83,648.
August 27, 20197 yr #12 at this stage is great for 'GINGER', hopefully should be safe to outpeak 'iridescence' now then (especially as that album actually climbed during the mids due to being very much stream-dependent which this one will be too so it hopefully at least won't drop much), wasn't expecting that to happen so yay!! Impatiently awaiting the top 100 singles update to see if its Spotify performance has been enough for 'NO HALO' to get them a first 'hit' single. Taylor's sales looking decent if a bit of a dip from the last era, I think this album could stick around pretty well for her though especially if they do push the title track as a proper single as it seems like a good album selling song. Cool to see Headie One in the top 5 as well!
August 27, 20197 yr THIS!! I called a below 40k, 25-35k opening for Taylor, bug that option wasn't even on the polls  Already done 36k so your wrong :P
August 27, 20197 yr Sam Feldt at #21! Cruel Summer completes the Taylor Swift threesome at #24 Lauv & Anne-Marie climb to #30 Wiley also in at #40 #42 The 1975, #44 Regard, #45 5SOS, #48 Becky Hill & Weiss, #49 Solardo & Eli Brown, #61 Lana Del Rey
August 27, 20197 yr Brockhampton are #66 AND #99 in the singles chart update! :o Yasss, should be safe to stay top 100 then :cheer: (the second song obviously won't but nice to see it showing up in the midweek update as well! even though it's one of the worst songs on the album)
August 27, 20197 yr Tones & I #41 as well. Also Ladbroke Grove above Beautiful People for a potential new peak at #3!

August 27, 20197 yr Not sure how AJ has overtaken Ed and Dominic but not gonna complain at it getting a top 3 peak...! Ugh can we not at Lauv/Anne entering, I was hoping that was gonna be stuck at its original #43 peak. Not really a fan of this new Wiley single either so I hope the Taylor album tracks are decent x (Also hope Regard can sneak into the top 40 by Friday! Happy that The 1975 should be missing out tho, Tones And I to stay away as well pls xx)
