I agree. I don't particularly want no deal but MP's have refused to back May's deal and we can't just go on endlessly in limbo like we have been doing.

This isn't limbo. This is continued membership, i.e status quo. We can continue like that indefinitely x

But we can’t just go with the worst option either.

Besides your mat Boris was instrumental in defeating that deal EVERY TIME. You’re not even consistent about what you support.

Except the people voted OUT. Why not respect democracy?

This is the BBTory's fault for uncritically repeating the ridiculous perperl herrv sperkerrn and werrl of the perperrl propaganda of the right wing rags.
Except the people voted OUT. Why not respect democracy?

HOW MANY TIMES?!

2 NATIONS V 2 NATIONS.

20% YOUTH SUPPORT FOR BREXSHIT.

51% VOTED FOR A NORWAY STYLE MODEL.

48% VOTED REMAIN.

17 MIL VOTED FOR IT (MILLIONS NOW DEAD OF OLD AGE)

48 MILLION DIDN'T VOTE FOR BREXSHIT

GOD SAKE.

IF IT WERE BINDING, IT WOULD NOT HAVE PASSED. IT DID NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED SUPPORT % OR THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF NATIONS!! England should not be able to bully the other nations due to population disparity!!!!

Except the people voted OUT. Why not respect democracy?

"If a democracy cannot change its mind, it ceases to be a democracy"

- David Davis (former Brexit Secretary), 2012.

Except the people voted OUT. Why not respect democracy?

Actually only 52% of the one who bothered to vote did. Do the rest of us deserve to be disrespected?

Also we’ve spent more than 3 years attempting to sort this at the expense of actual real problems. If anything we’ve given way too much respect to the result of a non binding vote.

And for the LAST TIME UNCOMMON SENSE, it is not to be respected. Leave lied and broke the law and obviously had no intentions of it being a Norway style soft brexshit. The end. Done. They lied. Not only that, but it id not have the support to pass as a binding referendum. Therefore, it does not have to be followed. Overturn. Revoke. That's what Canada, Australia, Switzerland and Japan have done with close-run referenda results, and they are far more mature democracies with actual provisions r.e referenda in the first place.

My wife's very rich employers are both remain but they're totally fed up with it all now and told her today that they actually hope Boris somehow takes us out on 31st Oct as they're fed up with it all.

They did also ask if I was worried about my sickness benefits with Boris at the helm, especially if he wins the next election. They think he'll get even more sick and disabled off benefits if he wins a majority next time.

They're multi-millionaire's but aren't Tory, are Lib-Dem.

My mum voted leave and told me tonight that if she got another vote it’d be for remain.

Is that not cast-iron proof of how you have your head in the clouds?

Jo Swinson and the Lib-Dems are a disgrace. She's been saying in her end of conference speech that if they win a majority (nearly fell off my chair laughing at that!!) she'll revoke A50 on her first day in office. Sorry dear but there's more chance of me getting a job tomorrow than you ever getting an overall majority. :D They have no respect for the result of the 2016 referendum. I hope she loses her seat which is a possibility.

Would you like to explain how it is undemocratic? "My mate Boris said so" isn't a reason. It is a perfectly clear policy. If they win a majority with that policy, they would be entitled to implement it. Opposition parties would, of course, be free to oppose it. Thar's how democracy works.

I did some number-crunching earlier. Thanks to our ridiculous electoral system, the Lib Dems could win a majority of around 100 with a LD 33%, Con 215, Lab 21%, Farage 15% split. Just to underline how mad our electoral system is, a small tweak to those figures (2% more for the Lib Dems with Lab and Con each losing a further 1%) would give the Lib Dems a majority of well over 200.

Lololol whatever. IT DOES NOT END WITH NO DEAP OR MAD MAY'S DEAL. THEY ARE NOT END STATES. IT WOULD CONTINUE FOR DECADES!! OOON AND OOON AND OON.

The only end state case is remain x

I spoke to a person today. They said something that confirmed my pre-existing biases on the topic at hand in the form of a catchy soundbite.

This except that I did that yesterday.

Adjourned until tomorrow. These judges don't work very long hours do they?

Their working day isn't limited to just the sitting hours of the Court  People in the judiciary and at the bar work exceptionally hard.

If the electorate give a party a Parliamentary majority whose flagship policy is to immediately revoke Article 50 then that's democracy x

No because genuine cases like mine will always win on a judicial appeal.

From The Mirror:

Boris Johnson has refused to rule out proroguing Parliament for a second time in order to dodge the law and ram through a hard no-deal Brexit even if he loses in the Supreme Court.

Which would completely invalidate the case the government are making in the Supreme Court.

It would be poetic justice following the mess of the AV Referendum if the Lib Dems somehow managed to crack FPTP and win an election after all.

No because genuine cases like mine will always win on a judicial appeal.

So that begs the eternal question which we keep asking you: Why do you blindly support someone who wouldn't hesitate to strip you of your benefits and make your life even more miserable for you if he could?

Just doesn't make sense.
