due to the US push, Someone You Loved is high in a lot of playlists like Today's Top Hits, so sure that helps in keeping it up there

for me it's the opposite, SLY is an 11 of a song with incredible lyrics, while Hold Me is barely a 5/10 and very average in lyrics

I keep being shocked every time I see 'Someone You Loved' being back in the Spotify top 10, that would have been getting beyond painful if ACR didn't exist and it had just continued being top 20 or even top 10 ever since it first got there. When will it die xx (and why has it so massively outlasted the far superior 'Hold Me While You Wait', grrr).

It would literally still be top 10. :drama:

There's not a rule dictating how many albums you can release in a time period

 

Never said there was but if ed released this many albums in a year it would be meltdown on here

its funny cos Ed left 2 years between Divide and the 6 Project album and still feels like he never left and should have left more space between

 

but thinking about it, cannot recall any big pop stars releasing 2 totally independent albums with just 6 months in between... I recall a few acts being quite fast with their 2nd album (Cranberries, Busted, Joss Stone), but not so fast :o

With 20 tracks on one, 19 on the other - bloody hell

That was basically a double album though rather than two distinct separate eras.

Rappers seem to have a faster turnover of albums/mixtapes than pop stars too.

just read there was an Ariana & Ed duet on Ed's Collabs album that got scrapped... imagine the meltdown and backlash if that had been released :D

So this means that Lewis is re-releasing Bruises as his next single?

really wanted Hollywood as next single, already tired of Bruises but it was the one doing better on release week so guess it makes sense
