Ton of Post Malone in top 50. No sign of Camila

No Camilla is absolutely tragic, I wonder if either of them will debut in the top 40? If they’re focusing on Shameless, I can see it struggling to be top 200 on spotify with the limited amount of support.

Liar is at 57

Another week with a big female release and yet another flop. I really f***ing despair at this point.

And Louis Tomlinson and tove lo struggle

Liar has 17 Post Malone songs ahead of it, 13 of which are brand new. Would've debuted at #44 otherwise and considering it's having to share attention with Shameless, that's fine! Let's not be dramatic on day 1.

They will never be big on the charts again. In a way it's good as we get artistic risks like Slide Away now. Streaming has made the charts sexist.

Shameless (Single) has had an awful start on Spotify. Day 1 or not. It will probably miss the top 40 this week.

Sure, I'd hoped for better too after Senorita, but it's not like Find U Again was an instant smash hit. In fact, Senorita's the only song Camila's put out that's been an instant mega smash - Never Be the Same wasn't instantly big and that followed Havana directly. It is quite dramatic to call a song a flop after just 1 day when songs have been proven to climb to their peaks in this day and age. I don't defend the charts, I try to put things into perspective and context because it makes far more sense than just "the UK hates females." I don't just like to disagree with you for the sake of it...

Okay not a flop as such, but off to a bad or disappointing start. It's frustrating to see such pedestrian music with next to no promotion sail to the top with ease whilst females have to go above and beyond with promotion and hype and still can't get anywhere.

 

This is just my opinion as a chart and music fan, it's hard for me to see, sorry 🤷

This is proving to be the problem - it's confusing as to which song is the actual single. Liar's had a bigger Spotify push despite Shameless getting the video. Heck, even 2 songs released at the same time can be detrimental - the stans are splitting their attention instead of devoting it to just one song!

Where would Shameless be removing the Post Malone album tracks?

 

I'd says she's off to a solid start tbh. Mainly coz people have 2 songs to listen to by her (therefore are less likely to repeat the one song so many times) and that Post Malone's album was always gonna be a big Spotify hit.

It was CRAZY to release on the same day/the day before than Post Malone anyway, for any act. Poor planning, that's all.

When it was like track @70 or something on NMF
