Supermarket offers and displays like that are a big help. In the UK which supermarket chain would get the best cd sales? In ireland it would be Tesco.

Sainsbury’s definitely - they even have their own vinyl range specifically for their stores, Tesco only seem to focus on the Top 5 or 10, Asda and Morrison’s seem to be losing interest too.

I wonder for how long more will they stock cds. In the town I live no where sells cds anymore accept Penney's and dunes stores stock a few big sellers at Christmas, it's sad that I have to buy all my music online now, there was a time when 10 places stocked huge amounts of cds. I know I'd never get a kylie cd locally anymore.

sales from Friday.....

Yep over here it’s tragic too :drama: WHSmith stock a Top 10 in most stores as do Asda and Tesco. Morrison’s seem to have a Top 20 but Sainsbury’s has the biggest selection - with HMV closing at a rapid rate and only 2 left in London the days of being able to go to the shops for a CD are numbered.

Where I live in London there used to be a HMV, Virgin Megastore, WHS, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Sam Goody all selling music in the same area :drama:

Good sales for last week - the price reduction should easily keep it Top 75 for another week at least :cheer:

Even when I go to Dublin it's hard to get cds, they used to have huge stores years ago that I could spend a whole day in.

I think it could remain Top 100 for the time being seeing as it's getting a reliable 400/500 units from streaming each week.
Midweek Kylie is Number 46 ironically 1 place higher than her current chart position !

Yep thats not bad. holding up well.

lets hope it stays top 60 on Friday.

a few Streaming albums will overtake with such low sales i imagine

Kylie is doing well and has been very lucky she has achieved 2 back to back Gold selling albums.

Many of the other artists from her generation are not as lucky, but overall, Celine has also performed well with an album that has received no promotion.

Tuesday mids.....
