I'd be happy for Disco, Golden and SBIT all to pull well ahead of Kylie Christmas.Disco I think has a few thousand sales left in yet in these coming weeks as it still has decent activity so by the end of the year I'd be happy to see it overtake Golden as I think its the better of the two.

Going by your maths on SBIT which I think is fairly on the mark it will have decent numbers and in time it will be her first platinum album since Aphrodite.

I'll wait until the official chart is revealed to post about 'Disco', but 'Step Back in Time' re-entered at #154 with 950 sold, brining its total to 168,360. That means, prior to last week, it was averaging ~582 since w/e 26th November 2020.
Thats great that step back in time is top 200 and also very close to 170k sales, im really happy with those sales.

Glad it’s back - if only it could sell like this every week, hopefully as the years roll on she will be added to more and more ‘retro’ playlists that will bump up the album sales each week.

Nice bump for SBIT…wonder what it sold the week before? Is there a percentage increase included with the data this week.

Up 19.8%

That must be Step Back in Times biggest weekly sale for a while now.

I would greatly welcome more weeks of similar sales.

Ya I'd love if sales were like that every week as it would fly past 200k but even if it can keep tipping away with trickle sales it will pass 200k by the end of the year.

Any interest is always welcome for an album full of so many classics.

It is an album that should attract interest at any point Kylie is active.

Getting added to further retro lists would greatly benefit the albums future sales.

She is lucky in that she has a few best ofs/greatest hits style releases that have also sold well down through the years.
Ultimate Kylie should never have been discontinued as if left on the market it would have continued selling and would possibly be her biggest selling album.
It was kinda stupid for Parlo to stop publishing the album. Put it on Spotify and it will massively increase Kylie's streaming numbers.

Why would it , if SBIT isn’t hugely increasing the numbers?

They lost traction/sales/streaming in the gap when ultimate kylie was no longer published and SBIT was released.Ultimate kylie was tipping away with sales continuously until it vanished.

There must have been some sort of licensing issue for them to pull it totally - it was a huge seller for them and would have continued to do well with trickle sales

I tend to think it had more to do with them preferring those sales to go towards Step Back In Time rather than Ultimate Kylie.
