Santa baby would def help on the streaming side of things.

With streaming of Santa Baby among Kylie's most successful singles it would make business sense to have it as part of the Step Back in Time Collection.

I'm glad the 3 CD version is using the track list that has New York City on CD1 and Breathe on CD2! I didn't buy either of the 2 CD versions, but I'll definitely get the 3 CD version for my collection. ^_^

Great that its still top 200 and not far off a thousand sales, hopefully it can hold on until the new edition comes.

I feel like it probably will fall out the chart before the re-release given we're still a month away from release and about 30 sales separated Kylie's position and #200. At least the streaming is continuing to hold up so it should still sell another 700/800 a week.

 

Agreed with you Jay regarding NYC on CD1 and Breathe on CD2! I too held off buying the original album so I'll purchase the 3-CD version. Particularly interested in the Freemasons megamix!

I kinda wish I held off buying the original release but really wanted it at the time, and waited for this edition, I know il buy the new version too but might wait for a price reduction unless the additional CD has a better track listing than we currently think.

The tracking list for the third disc is the same that was revealed a couple of weeks back. I'm not sure where this idea has come from that changes would be made as I've seen a few members talk about the possibility.

I was slightly confused as some said that track listing was not confirmed.

Based on, that it is that track listing, i feel it as disappointing, considering the multitude of options they had.

I would have loved CD 3 to be a really fan driven CD with songs that are not on other albums as it would be lovely to have as the 2 CD edition is great but CD 3 could have been very long term fan driven.

The Megamix might be nice

 

Lots of new albums out 22nd and lots the two weeks before so it's going to be competitive. With only the CD and no other formats she may miss this going top 10. However we have yet to see her promo slots and this BBC big show she has got planned... Will that be more towards the Golden release...

I would have bought the 3 CD if the tracklisting had been better on CD3. It looks lazy to me, a few new songs then the rest remixes. Might as well as just made it entirely a remix CD or a live CD or the singles that didn't make it. She has more than enough to fill a third CD.

 

Also where the heck is Giving you up... not buying it for that reason alone, a top 10 hit not included wtf?

it is a very lazy cd when it could have been so much greater and giving you up really should be on it.

The Megamix looks messy. It would be better if it just said 45 min continuous Megamix rather than listing them all and F9 looks alike its a keyboard instruction not a producer lol

 

Also why is it not available to pre order from her sight? Looks like she wants to push Golden dvd/CD from her site and the Greatest Hits from other distributors like Amazon. I would have both on pre order from everywhere.... Its Xmas and it alienates potential sales and customers.
