Oh I meant purely on Spotify so we should expect to have a pretty big drop again ala the week Drake released.

I don't think the Future album is going to have as much of an effect on Spotify as you're suggesting. I'd be surprised if he got more than 3/4 in the top 50. I don't think he has that much of a fanbase.
Literally every other pop hit including all of little mix's singles were discounted. Weird their team didn't bother.

LMAO. W/e RCA. At least they're trying with the Spotify playlist position (not that Spotify is really benefitting/having any kind of affect on it atm anyway - but ofc the higher, the better!)

I know we’re annoyed / confused about the lack of discount but it’s paying off at the moment.

This week would have been the ideal week to discount but I think they’ll still be top 20 officially next Friday.

Question: what song of theirs has spent the longest in the top 20?

Both Shout Out to My Ex and Reggaetón Lento have spent each 15 weeks in the Top 20.

Weeks inside the top 20:

15 Weeks Shout Out To My Ex / Reggaeton Lento

11 Weeks Black Magic / Touch

10 Weeks Power / Woman Like Me

09 Weeks Secret Love Song

08 Weeks Move

07 Weeks Wings / Love Me Like You / Hair / Break Up Song (as of tomorrow)

06 Weeks Only You

05 Weeks No More Sad Songs

04 Weeks Cannonball / Little Me

03 Weeks DNA / Change Your Life / How Ya Doin'?

02 Weeks Word Up! / Salute / Bounce Back

The label will probably hold off the discount until it starts rapidly falling.

Reducing to 59p probably wouldn’t have that much effect officially at the moment but would if it was outside the top 20/30 etc as sales are obviously lower.

Probably best to wait until it starts falling to give it more longevity rather than go for a higher position I reckon.

It’s actually doing so well on streaming anyway without Spotify.

HHUK isn’t really down to the label, it works more on the basis on what people skip, play or click on from that playlist.

They won't discount it at all now. I genuinely think the label are just being crap.

Umm, the label is clearly doing something right if it's spending seven weeks in the top 20 during a lockdown? And the promotion and support for Bounce Back was fantastic.

It's boring reading people whining about an iTunes discount constantly. It's doing well without it. Plus, this isn't 2013. Downloads will barely make much difference to the overall sales of the song anyway...

I mean crap in regards to the discount specifically lol

Haha, don't worry. Sorry I was so rude.

Anyone know if their position today has leaked already?

I'm still dying for an at home performance of this song! :(

The One World version of Touch has 2M views! (also helps that it's BBC Music's featured video)

Break Up Song makes the top 20 for another week! No surprise considering it was in there the whole midweeks but let's hope it stays top 15.
