Posted October 28, 20195 yr KE2SSftvFU4 -3P2USPFDcE Meduza are one of this year's biggest breakthrough acts in dance music with one of the biggest dance songs of the year and a solid follow up, but which of these two tracks do you like more? It's a tough call as obviously 'Lose Control' is still very new, but it was a lot more instant for me and has the wonderful voice of Becky Hill so I'm going to go with that for now. POYH remains amazing though and will be very high in my EOY. They're a very promising new act in commercial dance.
October 28, 20195 yr Love them both, but I’d have to say Lose Control, it’s everything good about POYH but with better vocals and no annoying ‘duh duh duh’
October 28, 20195 yr Definitely 'Piece Of Your Heart', it feels a lot more unique and memorable while 'Lose Control' is just another moderately decent dance song, I find pretty much all of Becky Hill's features largely blend into one in my mind. I've heard it quite a few times now and still remember very little about it apart from the bit that jacks the melody of 'Piece Of Your Heart' anyway :lol:
October 28, 20195 yr 'Piece Of Your Heart' - that felt fresh and exciting when it came out but I just can't get past the feeling of 'Lose Control' being a rehash, albeit with female vocals.
October 29, 20195 yr ‘Lose Control’ definitely. I find myself going back to it a lot more than I ever did for ‘Piece of Your Heart’.

October 29, 20195 yr I got bored of 'Piece of Your Heart' really quickly, whereas at the moment I am enjoying 'Lose Control'. It's like an elevated version with more to it.
October 29, 20195 yr 'Lose Control' for me. The vocals from Becky Hill sound really good and sounds great in the cooler weather I think.
October 29, 20195 yr Both of these are fantastic. Piece of Your Heart was really refreshing to see become a big hit and although Lose Control is still very similar to it, it's like a sort of upgraded version, improving a song I didn't know could be improved!

February 25, 20214 yr Meduza released a little EP of their 4 releases to date, I wondered how you’d rate them... Hopefully this may be an early sign of a forthcoming album in the future. My order of favourites; 1. Lose Control 2. Piece Of Your Heart 3. Paradise 4. Born To Love

February 25, 20214 yr Paradise has been a massive slow burner for me, despite me never putting it in any of my playlists so I've only really been exposed to it through casual radio listens. Piece Of Your Heart is absolutely my #1 in that list
February 25, 20214 yr Author POYH is firmly my fave now, it has aged better than Lose Control and I’m not too fussed on their other two.
