FIFY (that Bryan Adams song is awful)

but if Tones and I keeps dodging ACR and the Adele release doesn’t happen maybe she can do it!

she’s coming for the Aussie record at least anyhow.

She'll be cut short by Mariah in mid December :P

Dance Monkey's turn to be sung on X Factor tomorrow by Kevin McHale. Will it get enough of a boost on Spotify to avoid ACR?

It's not even close to going to ACR anyway

Dua is at #27 on Apple Music so far, I guess she'll likely debut higher on Spotify considering the very favourable immediate playlist spots but predicting she'll be on for a low top 10 debut and probably rising in later weeks.
I expect both of them to appear again today, but I think I'd take a guess on them not being quite as high this time. Possibly just below the top 100 for Mariah? We'll see how wrong that is later I guess.
There seems like more of an immediate Xmas buzz this year, with things like Mariah’s walkers as being released. I can see it being around what joyride has mentioned, at least initially before dropping lower for a few weeks

really curious at how Dua Lipa will perform today after getting the hull-house Spotify endorsement yesterday

on Apple she's #18 now but no clue how much support she's getting there

think Apple is more urban-centric, as an example Krept & Konan are #5 there with G-Love :/

some interesting positions at Apple

Meduza #7

Good as Hell-Ari remix at #12

Jax Jones & Ella at #14

AJ Tracey & Skepta #24

She only did 4M on the counter so I wouldn't expect out of the park numbers but maybe she got a lot in the UK, who knows.

Yes, Dua Lipa enters at number three. Krept & Konan and D-Block Europe enter at #26, Ariana, Normani and Nicki at #43, and M Huncho and Nafe Smallz at #50.

There are also new peaks for Turn Me On and Lose Control at #14 and #19, as well as AJ Tracey and Skepta at #31.

How high do we reckon Mariah will enter in the Nov. 1st update? Last year she got to #95, as well as Wham's Last Christmas at #165.

Plus she got the extra benefit of the anniversary release of her merry christmas album

Mariah enters at #88, so yep I was off.

Wham at #172.

Also fantastic to see Welcome To The Black Parade re-enter the UK Spotify top 200 for the first time since 2016!
350k streams first day is amazing. Almost 1M in the US and 3.5M WW. Queen!

Sigala / Ella at #62, nice to see!

bit disappointing figures for Dua if you consider the playlist positioning

I have to agree that I'm a little disappointed with Dua's opening numbers in UK (very impressed she managed #6 In the US however)

#1 on HH and NMF and all the hype around the new song and it still got less streams on its opening day than Ride It.... Sure she'll still debut at #3 at the lowest though it's nowhere near a disaster
