November 2, 20196 yr Election campaigns in the US are essentially 2 years long, 6 weeks is nothing in comparison. (Of course there's usually some pseudo campaigning a bit before the 6 week period here too but still).

December 8, 20196 yr The length I believe is irrelevant, at least it can be made to feel longer or shorter quite easily. The structure of public events in the campaign and rules on media coverage could be made far more streamlined and non-partisan to ensure a more exciting and interesting process of debate, cross-examination and scrutiny.
