If IYE becomes a big hit, we need The Edge of Glory back on charts too with that sax.

A new generation coming to discover the only other song that has a sax in it!

hahaha yes Lady Gaga invented the sax :D

not crazy about Scared to Feel, the Elton John sample was unnecessary

How many sax driven global hits there have been since The Edge of Glory though?

:P

Anyway, totally agree regarding Scared to Live, what the hell were they thinking.

Since Pavel mentioned it, I can’t not hear a-ha in Blinding Lights. This is no bad thing at all. If Morton feels like making a cover then that would be just great.
damit, now I'm hearing A-ha too :D
check False Alarm from his last album, pretty similar to Blinding Lights

many were saying BL was like a unique sound he never did before but for me it's really False Alarm the sequel

which is good but not a a career change

I am incredibly familiar with 'False Alarm', and you're taking absolute claptrap.

it's not just me, heard the same many times afterwards from many different people

I’m on my first listen and the first four tracks have all been very strong!

I’m a fan of the production and it’s different to Starboy too!

Will post a longer post with my thoughts on each track once I’ve heard them all but so far so good.

In Your Eyes is a bop

Hardest to Love and Scared to Live also stood out.

My favourite 2020 album so far! And my favourite Male artist right now too

What a KING

mmm 'In Your Eyes'

Was hoping it was going to be cherry-picked more but as always the first songs in the album are the most popular. Hoping it can be a hit in its own right as Blinding Lights as been a bit of a monster hit and I'm unsure anything would catch on alongside it.

Also 'Heartless' is sounding a lot better in the context of the album thankfully.

No wonder. It’s pretty much a copy-paste but no one seems to notice this.

Breaking news. The Weeknd invents completely super new sounds that no one has ever heard before (as well as sax).

Haha yeah I immediately thought of Take On Me when I first heard Blinding Lights, I just assumed everyone else did too :’)

Nobody is saying this .
