German hardcore group Scooter are back with a stomping new single today, akin to their earlier hits!

 

I quite like it. It's not exactly groundbreaking but it is an enjoyable dance song.

 

In parts, it's very similar to Bigroom Blitz which is one of my favourite songs of theirs.

for some reason before I press play I already knew how it should sound like :lol:

Loved scooter back in the day, this is what I was expecting before I heard it.

This a good new track from them. I really like the vocal sample in it.

Wand'rin' Star sounds also sort of addictive and chilly despite having basically the same instruments and samples used as in the rest of the album, and what's wrong with the other tracks - I couldn't find which one is which, if there's another track blasting or is it still the previous one, etc. Kinda liked techno sound in Russian-titled track 'Anastasia' (and my goodwill towards it ain't related to Russian title at all, I just like that tight and pumping kind of sound)

and that track where they go psy trance, can't remember the title tho

'The Spell Remains' is a great fun track, it sounds their most likely song to become a TikTok hit in a while too!

I do like a good few of their releases and bought singles from them and their greatest hits which i still enjoy but the newer releases feel so dated but in a good way,

Love the title of their new single! :heehee:

 

It's interesting listening to Scooter now that I made the discovery that the same guy shouting in their songs was in this band years before. Came across it in 2016. Can see why he became more successful with Scooter lol (although this is catchy at least but his vocals aren't great).
