Apologies if anyone was hoping for a grand redemption for one of their random lower placed entries/rejects but it's probably fairest to stick to the actual big hits and near misses of the year rather than whatever songs hit the niche of people who happen to vote in nomination rounds! (and with the bonus of guaranteeing everyone will have at least one and most people at least two songs appearing at some point x)

 

The following countries were 'lucky' enough to have multiple songs appearing in the first round, as they had more than one song which missed out on qualifying in its original contest by 1 or 2 places:

 

Aesthetica & Vülkyria - 3 each

Daehun, Niceland, Skall & Trifoski - 2 each

+ Ramrynia & Tartford also with 2 each who are special cases as explained in Phil's post x

Interesting new idea, I really like the consideration that's gone into it, having every country that entered any BJSC this year represented in this is a real highlight imo!

This looks very promising! I agree that it's great to have every country's highest-performing entry included. Really fabulous ideas all around, this will be interesting!
