No dodgy second era’s here!

Omg this is a SERVE in every sense, she's really nailed being in her own lane this era I feel. I mean I loved the debut era but everything about Physical is such a step up to that huge star level.

 

This is probably the biggest pure pop home run since Don't Call Me Up, insane!!

FAB stuff! Very pure pop, quite new wave-esque.

 

She really is killing this second era, I hope this can be a number one!

Oh this is great! I actually think this is my favourite of hers after just one listen! (But then again I was never "huge" on her. I liked and bopped but that's about it)

 

Excited for the video considering that she has stepped up her presence and persona in general for this era! I'm HYPED.

Is it just me or does the instrumental of this in places have a resemblance to Madonna’s Hung Up / Gimme Gimme Gimme.

 

I’m definitely hearing that!

 

This sounds HUGE though. She’s definitely stepped up this era and her debut era was already great. But this and Don’t Start Now are like an extra step ahead. Like Liam said she’s totally found her sound / lane and she sounds so confident like this is her.

Can anyone else hear Hung Up. Especially in the instrumental before she starts singing and at other points throughout. I’m hearing it more throughout each listen but I’ve not seen anyone share that view on social sites yet :lol:

 

Pls am I going crazy. It sounds so much like it :lol: :lol: Like the instrumental before she starts singing in this sounds like the part in Hung Up before Madonna sounds singing and then towards in the end I can hear it again.

 

The song is HUGE though. A perfect follow up to Don’t Start Now it might even end up being better than that with repeated listens. And it’s very instant for pretty much everyone who’s heard it too. She’s basically gonna be the Ariana of 2020 I can see it but well deserved.

I don't rly hear hung up that much in this :o For me it's reminding me of a modern-day Holding Out For A Hero, which is probs why I'm so obsessed <3
