Perrie, Leigh & Jade have just been on Radio 1 with Nick Grimshaw and they did not mention *one* thing about Confetti at all. It was all about the Search and their anniversary, even if they aren't saying anything new at least plug the album? It's so odd.

Yikes. They really ought to be teasing the next single by now.

Also, the fact that The Search is now a certified flop (<2.5m viewers including iPlayer)... we just keep taking Ls since LM5.

I mean it is a flop but is it a loss?

They're on TV weekly, giving us content, the show was well received, their fanbase is warming up to them even more. It sucks that the ratings are low but I'd rather have the show (which is very good thus far) with low ratings than nothing at all. Same with Break Up Song and Holiday, both of which were pretty decent hits and in the long run will end up being Platinum/Gold. I don't see how they're losses either...

Honestly nowadays with them nearing 10 years I just take everything they're giving us and enjoy as much as possible without bothering too much if it underperforms or even just doesn't smash because soon they might be inactive for longer then we're used.

This album's singles have been pretty good and I'm excited about it. Only complaint right now is them not putting in an effort to keep their fanbase excited throughout the weeks of preorder they have.

Back then when we discussed if it was better to have a longer or a shorter preorder period, the pros of a shorter one was that we got everything pretty quickly (tracklist, grat tracks, snippets), so the hype was never down.

Very good points! I still enjoy the show and it should still help the album significantly, especially with the live performances.

This is exactly it.

The viewing figures may not be great but who else can say they got a TV show of their own 9 years into their career? A record breaking career at that.

Their tour is selling well / is sold out. The next single is coming soon which will hype the album / the show / the tour.

And honestly, the show is so fun to watch and the girls are so good on it, who cares if it's not being watched by the masses. I enjoy it

Well points made. People don’t half overdramatise things. Let’s just enjoy the ride without looking for faults.

People can still enjoy the show and appreciate it and call it a flop at the same time? It IS great content and amazing seeing them on prime time TV every weekend but it’s also a let down that it wasn’t the success everyone hoped for.

(This reminds me of Chasing The Saturdays but on a much bigger scale obviously )

The girls have received 3 (but apparently they've got 4 as they are the "wildcard" act for UK & Ireland which is disrespectful as hell lol) MTV EMA nomiations.

Best group, best pop and best virtual concert (and then UK and Ireland act)

You can vote here; https://www.mtvema.com/en-gb/vote/ (Also just clicked this, they're in for UK and Ireland)

They're against BTS for 3/4 so I doubt they'll win, BUT, if they perform that would be great promo cause it's on the 8th November.

I agree, they will obviously get the best UK act one but its just good to see them get nominated now for main categories now!!

I can definitely see a performance coming tbh.

I've just noticed that on their website all the album versions have just twelve tracks listed. Could AM be wrong or is it a mistake of their website?
Their website is wrong. On the digipack page it says "Limited Edition 13 track Rainbow Glossed CD ‘Confetti’ Digipack" but then lists 12 songs. Says 13 for the other products as well (then lists 12 tracks). I noticed that from the off- you'd think their team would spot the error considering the very description of the items is contradictory lol but.

Hmm I think it will be quite close between them and Harry Styles?

I’d even say it could be close with Dua in the mix too. But Harry will definitely get more votes if they’re fan voted.

Nah they will beat Dua, i’m sure they have before anyways? LM have a way bigger fan base.

Harry would be the main competition but hopefully LM get it as they have won it 2/3 years in a row i think

Any idea of their updated pre-order total?

They're only on 12k. They kinda went quiet with album news now.

Does this include the bundles etc?

It’s a tad frustrating seeing them waste various days that, if properly hyped, could inflate their preorders.
