OMG what a brilliant performance. All 3 sounded on point. So glad to get a tv performance of BUS. Easily my favourite single by them from their whole career. Can’t tell you how many plays it had when I looked at my Spotify summary for the year 🤣🤣

Why is it struggling? :(

I genuinely thought it would appear top 40 after that performance.

Hopefully it’ll climb quicker but:

BUS

I don’t think Strictly has that much impact and plus the song is like 9 months old.

(Vocally they were amazing but boring to watch, mic stand routines suck)

I guess...I thought it might of had a big boost though given how high songs danced to last night are.

It was a little lacklustre I guess if you're not a fan.

Woman Like Me performance wasn't good at all imo.

This one was, but I still wasn't expecting it to do much chart wise. It'll have more of a passive effect I think, keeping the girls in people's minds. Maybe some people will get the album on their weekly shop etc.

I-

You all love doing the most, don't you?

A- the mic stand routines was to highlight the DANCERS. They can't/didn't go overshadowing them...

B- pretty sure you all panicked when 'Sweet Melody' barely climbed straight after their performance on Jonathan Ross, but then it climbed the very next morning.

C- this performance is pretty much to sell the album. This 8/9 month old single really wasn't/isn't going to benefit TOO much as a song. Lets see the effect it has on the albums chart this week over anything else, before dismissing the promo! Strictly is usually good/strong album promo over anything else.

Basically... chill a bit please! :kink:

Theres just no pleasing some people is there

Personally I don't think it's unreasonable given Metallica nearly went top 10 and A Thousand Years is at 2 on iTunes from yesterday's dances..

To limp in at 153 and the album climb a few spots didn't seem like it had much impact at all given the huge audience figures.

The overreaction... as usual.

Fantastic performance. The Woman Like Me one was horrible.

Can we maybe stop saying things like “I thought it would be a little higher on ITunes” are overreactions? Everyone has their own expectations

But speaking of BUS is actually top 100 now with the other version just behind

....

Again, people saying something slightly negative isn’t them ‘doing the most’. Everyone said it was a good performance but boring to watch. How does that mean we need to chill?

An amazing performance overall. But it adds all the more weight that Jesy is the group. Without her, they just don’t cut it.

No overreaction.

It’s realistic for a show that is arguably the most watched show on TV at the moment, to barely climb into the top 100 and the album move 10 spots just into the top 20 seems a bit lack lustre given the boosts of other performers.

I really liked the performance but it didn’t really have the wow factor that a high profile TV show performance needs.

I’m sure it will help the album this week, just expected a bigger boost of BUS on iTunes.

I don’t think it was boring at all. It was nice to hear them sing clearly and well without focusing too much on choreography. It’s not a song that would suit a big dance routine anyway in my opinion.
album 13 in mids, but looks like it's set to rise to 7ish by the end of the week.
