We all know that, but the point is it's not the confetti album cover anymore

I think it's just to move on with the era as a 3.

This, they probably just wanted to update their socials with photos of them as a trio. I don’t really see it as them moving on from the era tbh.

I refuse to believe they'd move on from this era whilst they have Confetti, Happiness, Happy 4 U and Breathe still there. That'd be a crime against humanity
It would indeed be a waste for them to move on considering we’ve only had one post album single since Think About Us and that was two years after Glory Days. :( So much potential hits - Wasabi, The Cure, Happiness, A Mess - being left to rot.

I do think the Confetti era is over, but not because of that photo, they often change their profile picture to a new picture from the era, like they did when Reggaeton Lento was released, it was that orange scheme, even though that wasn't the Plat edition cover or it wasn't the Reggaeton Lento cover.

I'm lowkey expecting New Beginnings to be the title or something

Same

TBH I'd love a single called TRIO I think that would be SO GOOD!

Confetti / Sweet Melody sounding would be even better!

I actually don't want them to reference a "new start" or anything with the next song.

Just give us the next man-hating anthem girls!

Yeah, anything referencing the departure of Jesy in any way would just kind of come off as a desperate attention grab to me. Let the music speak for itself and bless us with a fantastic pop bop and then if they want to throw in a sappy ballad on the album so be it.

Great hold! Very happy with that :D

Hoping it can stay top 5!

I really don’t want them to abandon the Confetti era so soon . The album is still doing very well and Happiness and Confetti the song are screaming to be singles . It would be a shame if at least one of them wasn’t a single .

They could add a feature to either so it’s a newish version and for Jesy’s parts in the video they could always use that point to lead in to something like show of looks or go in to choreography example . There’s ways round it I just don’t think they should abandon the whole era just yet !

It would seem silly to abandon Confetti when it’s doing so well and Sweet Melody just hit #1! They have so many hits on the album, I don’t want them to move on from it yet.

Happiness as a single would be very... like in a perfect world where Jesy didn't leave, yes give us Happiness! But the context of that song being released JUST after her leaving, I can see the Sun and DailyMail headlines now :(

The perfect song to do would be A Mess, and get a feature on there so Jesy's verse is gone, since she's not even in the harmonies or ad-libs, it's literally just that bridge they need to get rid of.

Saying that though, Gloves Up & A Mess are the only two songs on the album which don't feature Jesy in the chorus at all. She has 1 verse, and it's very short. Does anyone else think Jesy was meant to leave a while ago? It just feels odd that she's not even in the chorus or doing any adlibs. Her harmony is non existent.

They were probably recorded post the first semester quarantine and Jesy couldn't be arsed to go to the studio. She was already exhausted probably.

The media will twist and run with whatever they release and still bring it back to Jesy with whatever they release at this point tbh . Also regarding the music I think there is always going to be songs where certain girls are more or less prominent in songs that’s just going to happen in a group. Little Mix manage to even out lines and solos quite equally majority of the time in songs but there’s always going to a few songs were you here more or less of a member in a song . Jesy for example I feel was quite prominent on songs like Sweet Melody.
