LM5 did slightly more overall (1.665m vs 1.598m) but that had more songs and a bigger hit in WLM. This lead will be cancelled out by thr chart rules as only the average of tracks 3-12 on each album are used to calculate album units. A better first day for Confetti overall.

Also I was criticising all the singles being at star , after a few listens it makes sense bangers at start ballads at end would be weird to mix and the album flows better

So according to PJ the midweeks are Kylie with 30k, Little Mix with 27k but streaming has not yet been factored into them, so good news for us, bad news for Kylie.

I imagine it did something like 2k from streams? And Kylie a few hundred. So probs not enough to overtake. Maybe later in the week.

Amazing news!

Okay I've decided this album is genuinely amazing and their best yet.

 

Still my only complaint is 'Gloves Up' not having a fade out middle 8 before an explosive final chorus with OTT ad-libs and production. :(

Kylie and Little Mix have really both went and outdone Ariana’s and Sam’s full first week with preorder and first day numbers without streaming. British pop legends! Both defying industry odds to be honest.

 

It's fast becoming my favourite album too :wub:

 

All the latter songs have grown on me so much.

 

A Mess (Happy for you) has grown on me the most, I'm obsessed.
