Trump lead in Georgia now just narrowed from 100k to 87k!!!

7% more votes to be counted :cheer:

Yeh the Atlanta city and suburbs adding to the dems votes

How long do recounts take in US elections? I assume Wisconsin will not be the last recount demanded
ok now I am getting anxious again reading all kind of things online such as Arizona is not safe yet for dems, Georgia is remaining red, and Nevada could go Trump as well...ugh!!!
Data Orbital (?) are estimating Trump will win Arizona based on the votes still left to count

Been saying this all night. They count absentee votes first, so no surprise Biden had a 200k lead that’s now down to 93k with some polls counted and 16% left to go. Fox News jumped the gun and everyone went along with it

The rollercoaster of the last 24 hours has been insane. Regardless of the outcome there's no denying this was an interesting vote.

On my optimism / pessimism scale I'm leaning more towards pessimistic again with the fear Arizona and Nevada maybe aren't as safe as first thought

Pull through Georgia and Pennsylvania please...

Arizona might be tight but Nevada’s biggest voting counties are set to come in from the Vegas area which trends democrats - he won’t need Pennsylvania potentially if dems win here

Sky saying they've just learnt that Trump will request a recount in Wisconsin regardless of the size of any Biden win. That will delay the final result from there. They may request others but only one is allowed at a time.

Ridiculous.

Why? Would you say that if Biden was asking for a recount? It's a legal right if a state is won by less than 1%.

A recount can be refused. Just been looking up the rules. Has to be a win or projected win of less than 1%. Unlike in Europe, no two recounts can take place at once. If it's thought a party is just playing games and demanding recounts to delay the inevitable result then they'll be refused.

You’d probably ignore the second point if Biden did ask for one and claim it’s a waste of time.

Exactly. The duplicity and double standard is astonishing.

Eh? I have no double standard. The law states that 1% or less and you can be granted a full recount. So doesn't matter if that 1% is 2 votes or 2 million. The number is irrelevant. I'd say the same if Biden demanded a recount. He may do yet.

CNN team are just about calling the election for Biden. They think it’s over for Trump and recounts won’t help.

Trump wants to stop counting in the states he’s winning and keep counting where he’s losing. Big giant baby
Soon Trump will have to ring Joe and concede. Be a man Donald and do the right thing. Be a good sport. Forget court cases and recounts too. You've had a term, more than Hillary got to be satisfied. Your fans like me will always love you.

I admire your hopeless optimism, but lol that's never going to happen.
