The OCC really know how to screw up the uk kcharts dont they It's not a case of "bothering" to reset them, it's literally the OCC following their rules. If a song increases by 25%, and is under 3 years old, the OCC can't turn around and say "no actually, we're not taking your song off SCR." That would lead to way more unfair situations than if they reset every song that meets their criteria.

As people switch back from streaming Christmas songs to listening to the same songs as a month ago, a lot of them will get a 25% increase. For the remaining 50 weeks, it will be more of a rarity.
