Oh wow! I'm so pleased that 'Are You Out There' has gone down so well on here <3 once I'd heard it I was shocked that it wasn't a well-known classic or anything, just a quick hit that spent 3 weeks in the top 40. It's a fantastic gem that I'm glad to have unearthed from the archives.

Following Jade's win she's now up to 4th in the leaderboard as the top 3 remains as it was last time though Dobbo and I are now both far ahead of Cody. Lewis completes the top 5 here following his top 10 finish and Addy jumps to 6th following his 2nd place. TheSnake also manages to go top 10 although mostly due to BridgeCow sitting this contest out. Dobbo manages to overtake Mattias in this leaderboard too after finishing 4th. Jade's win puts her in 7th and Addy's 2nd place puts him in 9th, whilst Chez's underperformance pushes him down to 11th so WhoOdyssey 'climbs' to 10th having sat out the contest. awardinary, Cucumberella and TheSnake also reduce their average this time within the top 20. King Rollo likewise has a big jump here to 13th.

very pleased with 6th for myself too after the mixed plug reception anyhow, especially with it having to compete with similarly long trance tracks in 'Are You Out There' and 'Anastasia'.

Congrats Jade on your first CB win! (for reals this time, presumably :kink: WhoOdyssey now forgiven x) Brilliant song to do it with of course, one of your best entries to this to date. <3

 

I loved both of the top 2 and both would have been a first win for people competing since the start so I'd have been a little sad for whoever came 2nd either way - poor brave Addy, but at least this is still a new peak for you (for some reason I was sure you had already come 2nd once before but I see Dan helpfully posted the chart runs now showing that isn't the case :magic:) Yay for The Space Brothers remaining so high as well and also being a new peak for Rollo, all of the top 3 were in my top 4! And yay for my fave DJ Seduction (still an awful name that feels dirty to type x) being comfortably top 10 too.

Knowing Jade’s favourite dance song of all time is Roger Sanchez – Another Chance, I suspect something along a similar sound for the next themed dance contest! :dance:

For those with really good memories,there were two clues to Shine being my entry. I nominated it for the recent Ultimate Dance poll. AH Gold was the only other person to vote for it. Also,it's at number 149 in my all-time top 1000 songs countdown but not the same version. The version in my chart is a mashup with Love Stimulation by Humate. They overlap by about a minute and segue so well together. I thought of entering this but I assumed that Dan would not allow me to enter two songs!

I'm really sorry, I have certain issues around being really active on the forum and feel it's best to cut down a lot at certain times. It sucks because this is a fun contest to be a part of! I'm not ruling out entering again in future.

Those two mashed together still comes to a run-time that is less than 4 of the entries here (!) so we probably would have allowed it :P (though 'Love Stimulation' by itself was a former BJSC entry, it finished 28th in BJSC 65 for Tartford)

I enjoyed the variety of entries in this contest and it was great to have over 20 entrants. I hope Mattias can take part again in the future if he decides to, and it would be nice to see BridgeCow and WhoOdyssey enter again too!
