September 26, 20213 yr The government line today is that we can only offer emergency visas for HGV drivers because we have left the EU. Let's just ignore the fact t6hat they wouldn't be needed in the first place if we were still in the EU.

October 10, 20213 yr Ha yes. All those shortages. Are they queuing for petrol in Copenhagen? Empty shelves? I’d be shocked if it wasn’t exactly the same as it is here a few hrs south. Plentiful food (and glorious sunshine today) and no run on petrol although you might need to raise your credit card limit to fill up 😬😬 garage on my street asking 1,659€ for E10 😱

October 10, 20213 yr Jesus f*** 2€?!? No wonder there’s plenty left at that price! Diesel is so much cheaper. The amount id save in fuel costs I could have replaced a DPF 😠
October 10, 20213 yr At least we can complain about the price of fuel rather than getting up at 3am and hoping that today will be the day the tanker comes to your local station How about that?
October 10, 20213 yr Your not selling the single market to us here lads! The Dutch price has little to do with the single market and everything with taxes
October 10, 20213 yr At least we can complain about the price of fuel rather than getting up at 3am and hoping that today will be the day the tanker comes to your local station How about that? I’m grand Silias the good old NI Protocol sees no queues for petrol in Ireland as we are still in the Eu technically 😜. But unionists will obviously not mention that fact an imaginary discrimination against their constitutional position is more important for them to push before next years elections!
October 10, 20213 yr The Dutch price has little to do with the single market and everything with taxes I’m no economist but the prices in the ROI are way more inflated than in the north for example a bootle of lucozade in the north is £1.29 in the south it’s like €2.
October 21, 20213 yr The government's latest "triumph" is a trade deal with New Zealand. Naturally, the government are talking it up as if a trade deal with a small economy literally on the other side of the world will replace what we've lost. A look at the UK government's own figures shows that it will give a significant boost to the economy - New Zealand's economy. Those same figures show that the impact on the UK economy will be fairly small. And that it will be negative. Yes, the government are hailing a trade deal that will shrink the economy (or reduce the rate of growth).
October 21, 20213 yr It’s not even a deal yet! Just a like MoU Fanfare over something that ain’t even signed or on the road to being signed
February 23, 20223 yr Jack Mogg has announced an enquiry into the economic benefits of going back to imperial measures, a review that will presumably cost a lot of money. I hereby offer to do the review for him for £5. My conclusion is that there are no benefits.
February 23, 20223 yr Generations, granted non-Tory voting ones, but entire GENERATIONS of Brit’s can’t understand imperial measures. They’re ridiculous and make no sense at all. It would bring no benefit to the f***ing economy at all but it would cost billions to swap things over. As if we haven’t had enough of an economic hit from Brexit
February 23, 20223 yr The tapeworm in a top hat's determination to drag us back to the 19th century continues, I see.
February 23, 20223 yr I fully expect Jacob to insist only Penny Farthing bikes are sold in the UK from this year!
February 23, 20223 yr People will be pounding their head against a stone wall trying to fathom out who will foot the bill for this nonsense.
February 23, 20223 yr Great puns  God I hate THAT FAR RIGHT VICTORIAN CREATURE, the BBTory for promoting IT through HIGNFY?, and everything the far right simpleton stands for!!!!
