Found something, but I couldn't find an mp3 for it took me forever to try and find something, I gave up in the end :drama: :snif: hopefully it can be ripped from You Tube or somewhere else.

P.S. I've gone Indie :D I'm loving it, pretty instant with me, it ticks all the boxes :magic: my only problem I really don't know where to look for an MP3 hope Bre can help there.

I think this must be the latest I have ever left confirming :magic: but I am finally in now, going with a piano instrumental.
the s***e and his subjects in Buzzjack Mountain have entered a remix of a song but surprisingly its not a dance remix.

That makes two of us :o (it's a bit different from my last piano instrumental though)

Ooh. The battle is on. xx

I think this is the first time I've sent such a stripped back piano instrumental (it does have some electronic elements as well but not as much as songs like 'Cry For Freedom').

confirmed. voting for the final may be a bit tight due to commitments but give it a go...

If it suits you better you can apply for the holiday voting procedure (i.e. ranking all of the songs from both semi-finals in the semi stage so we can put together your final votes based on that if you'll be too busy to vote during the actual final voting week).

~

Unrelated: we're currently at 54 confirmed nations (already one more than last contest, yay x). Currently yet to receive entries from the following who entered last month:

Aelandor

Daehun

D'yermak'er

Greenfroze

Skall

Unovia

Wholune

Confirmed, a bop that kinda reminds me of Freemasons and Katherine Ellis - When You Touch Me
are we really not gonna get any veto warnings until after confirmations close?

Is an hour before confirmations close better? x (as ever the health warning is that vetoes can always come in after the deadline and no one is fully safe until semis are up so always have a backup in mind if you have any inclination that you might be vetoed xx)

Some vetoes, there may be more to come but these ones have been decided so far:

COY - Promises 17

- triple quadruple confirmed 10

- covered on Scandipop and PopJustice plus a few other blogs, probably enough for 'moderate coverage', clearly seems to have caught the ear of a fair few participants 7

Robin Schulz - In Your Eyes (feat. Alida) 39

- Alida came 2nd in BJSC 58, 14th in BJSC 98 and 15th (as featured artist) in BJSC 108 (veto points counted in full as she is sole vocalist on this song) 5+12

- current hit single in several European countries, most highly #18 in Germany but also charted in the top 40 in Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and Austria 10

- currently #13 in the Multichart 12; has a dance forum thread with 7 replies

- doesn't have much in the way of blog coverage specifically but is already an auto-veto from the above, not to mention Robin Schulz being a pretty big name in dance music (being behind 2 UK #1s and a couple of other smaller hits)

Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit 12

- charted at #8 on the US Hot 100 in 1967 (doesn't count for anything on the veto framework but worth noting)

- was heavily sampled in previous BJSC entry 'Feed Your Head' by Paul Kalkbrenner; unsure if the original song itself will be that well-known to that many people but it is a very famous and well-regarded song, appearing on several 'greatest songs of all time' lists and such, has to count as significant exposure 12

'Promises' is the one that got 3 confirmations in the first hour and it got a 4th one today lol ~

thanks bray!

I saw Promises on someone’s last.fm and thought “yeah that’s gonna get vetoed” :P side note: maybe this could be an arcodesia entry in the future? coi? wink wink nudge nudge

I figured Promises would be vetoed.

It was also submitted four times to the PJSC panel.

:o I can’t believe so many people tried to send me to BJSC! :D

And I’m amazed someone tried In Your Eyes, I think that was quite obviously going to be a veto! Been loving that song a lot over the last month though.

Only I can vetoed with 1967 song that never charted in UK lol.

Submitted my other option...still retro circa 1999.

Only I can vetoed with 1967 song that never charted in UK lol.

It is very famous for a song that never charted in fairness!!

(but the main concern I had was that 'Feed Your Head' is essentially just a remix of 'White Rabbit' so it's pretty close to being a song that was already entered x)

I'm listening to 'Promises' now and I can definitely hear straight away why it was in such immediate high demand (idk if I'd have voted for it myself but it does sound like something that'd probably be a very safe hit).
