I've just watched 28 Days Later ... and it was a tad disappointing! I bought it as a boxed set with 28 Weeks Later ... please someone tell me 28 Weeks Later is better.

28 Weeks Later was worse! :(

What a waste of £3!

Let the Right One In. Again. Finished Six Feet Under Season Four.

We actually saw a little film called 'Stay Alive' last night! My kid nagged me into getting it as it was only £3 at Asda. I thought from the cover it would be one of those crappy Saw films - all blood and gore with no reason behind it. It was surprisingly good. A fairly good story (although not sure how they got the Countess D'Bathory to have been a US citizen) .... the gore was at a minimum and the jumpy bits were very jumpy ... it was fairly atmospheric too. Frankie Muniz (Malcolm from MITM) was the only actor in it that I knew though. Not mega-brilliant ... but well worth £3 ... and certainly an improvement on 28 Days Later.

Wrong Turn II ... I'm in a sort of 'horror' mode at the moment! Henry Rollins was brilliant in it. I don't normally like these kind of films (Hills Have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw, etc - they're all $h!te) but this was pretty entertaining.

The Hangover. Cousins got it for my bday and i watched it last night. Was quite good! I would have laughed more if i didn cough everytime i laughed.
Final Destination 4

Finally got to watch it. As hilarious as the other parts. Really liked the killing scene in the mall on the escalators.

Gosh, the biuld up to a rock-in-the-eye scene was so big but the result was so dissapointing :( I also was wondering how the kids died. :nocheer:

Also... LOVED the conception of the x-ray scenes in the beginning titles and in the end. <3

The best movie out of four (by a smaaaaaaaaaall margin though).

Please, Please, PLEASE tell me you have had a long hard re-think about this? Funnily enough though the last movie I watched on DVD (the night before last) was 'Final Destination 3' (My personal favourite, followed very, very closely by the first one.)

:cheer: Someone else who found it disappointing

It is comforting to know that there are others who thought 28 Days Later was bad (or at least ... vastly overrated ... but then again ... on Buzzjack ... people seem to get excited about the tiniest things ... it must be an age thing with me I suppose.) 28 Weeks Later was much worse though. I had such high hopes for Robbie Carlyle after playing Albie in Cracker ... but (for me) he has proven to be a one-trick pony ... in a truly awful film ... he was the worst thing in 28WL.

Whoever said Wrong Turn ... I thought WT2 was much better.

I'm back by the way ... been to a beautiful place this weekend!

LOL. I've just recently changed my mind on that one. Final Destination 4 is terrible. Actually it's now my least fave. I'm so indecisive! The one with the road crash is the best by far.
