March 23, 20206 yr JP Sauce & Julia Michaels - If The World was Ending is at #44, great track that has been around for a while http://i.imgur.com/gr3vePs.png
March 23, 20206 yr It's bad when Fleur East cant get an early midweek top 100, I was sure she would have easily managed that. Wow does that mean she not even done 100 copies
March 23, 20206 yr the fact that Dua is going to release an album next week means that DSN will spent at least 23 weeks in top 10? Edited March 23, 20206 yr by jszmiles
March 23, 20206 yr That's the biggest chart shock of the year for me so far. I mean Fleur was never gonna set the charts alight but surely she'd have enough fans to at least show up in the Top 100 in Monday's mids? Pretty gutting for her. I doubt we'll hear much more from her after this.
March 23, 20206 yr Fleur isn't even in the top 200, by the way. Still waiting on that impact date for 'More and More' too.

March 23, 20206 yr Very surprising for Fleur, especially considering that the lead single got to #80!
March 23, 20206 yr Very surprising for Fleur, especially considering that the lead single got to #80! Over a year ago and subsequent releases haven't made any impact tbf! I'm not that shocked, she's had no major support or promo, but it's a shame really, it's got some good tracks on it!
March 24, 20206 yr The release couldn't have been timed worse for her as with everything going on with the Corona virus her dad sadly passed away aswell.
March 24, 20206 yr I think unless you use this site you’d have had next to no idea Fleur was releasing an album.  She’s more seen as TV personality now rather than a singer. It’s a mix of bad timing and lack of awareness I’d say. Like had corona not happened she could’ve done the daytime shows all week and got some word of mouth promo to at least chart top 100. People like The Weeknd can survive releasing in times like this as they don’t rely too much on promotion the way someone like Fleur would.
March 24, 20206 yr Those album numbers seem a bit low for The Weeknd.. can he do 25k at least? I thought they'd be higher but I've just checked back at how Starboy was performing at this stage and it was on 17.1k, so After Hours is doing pretty well given the circumstances. After Hours shifted 2.7k units on Sunday, I reckon 25k is achievable with all streams added.
March 24, 20206 yr but for what I understand the Fleur album is only out as streaming/download this week, with the physical out next week so kinda makes sense she's doing poorly
March 24, 20206 yr but for what I understand the Fleur album is only out as streaming/download this week, with the physical out next week so kinda makes sense she's doing poorly Don't think that's the case, as you can order the CD from HMV online now, and it shows a release date of 20th March
March 24, 20206 yr From Music Week You can expect things to change significantly as the weeks of social distancing go by, but it’s already clear that physical sales are going to take a big hit. Last night, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that all non-essential shops would have to close, adding to already-announced shutdowns by the likes of HMV. Supermarkets will remain open but, even there, space for entertainment is being squeezed by unprecedented demand for groceries. Week 12 sales figures from the Official Charts Company show that, even without most of those developments, physical sales of artist albums dropped 12.2% week-on-week, to 261,272. Physical compilation sales were down 8.1% to just 60,954, while, overall, sales of all albums (including digital downloads) were down 10.9% to 394,050. That’s perhaps a smaller drop that some might have anticipated. And, indeed, the biggest-selling physical album of the week, The Shires’ Good Years (BMG) moved 9,793 copies of its total 12,011 sales on physical formats, with just 3.87% of ‘sales’ from streaming.
