March 24, 20206 yr Glad to see In Your Eyes and Sunday best enter, not too thrilled about the other possible new entries
March 24, 20206 yr Weeknd increasing his lead from Joel when the former is on ACR and the latter is on SCR
March 24, 20206 yr After Hours increasing his daily units so should be on track for 25k, but daily sales elsewhere are painful - you can really see that most albums are relying almost solely on streams. It's going to take less than 4k to reach the Top 10 and less than 2k to reach the Top 40, no doubt things will look even worse next week.
March 24, 20206 yr Should have been inevitable after how many other mediocre dance remakes have become hits but I am nonetheless disappointed that we're allowing this Nathan Dawe thing to get big. Do we have the numbers for how much the streams of 'Blinding Lights' have increased?
March 24, 20206 yr Nathan Dawe going top 40 really isn't what we need right now (yes even I don't endorse this). At least Tequila is set to make a small climb to represent great dance music I guess. the fact that Dua is going to release an album next week means that DSN will spent at least 23 weeks in top 10?to give a late reply, it still could in time but I've just realised that DSN will probably be on ACR next week, which means it could be booted out of the chart entirely for a week thanks to her album drop before it gets its inevitable reset. :drama:

Do we have the numbers for how much the streams of 'Blinding Lights' have increased? Safely over the 25% needed for a reset at this stage!

And just listened to one of her album track 'Love Again'...if that makes it to official chart then we will 2 songs sampling Blue Boy - Remember Me, the other one being Mabel - Boyfriend.
March 24, 20206 yr Cool - reset near enough guaranteed for next week then and could well end up getting another 3 weeks at #1 out of it (although of course SAINt JHN was legitimately ahead last week so could get back ahead if the album effect wears off very quickly). I'd be surprised if Dua's album tracks did well enough for 'Don't Start Now' to drop off the chart entirely going to ACR, I think it'd still be either her 2nd or 3rd song depending on how well the new single does. I remember people pointing out that with the original album release date 'Physical' could have been going to ACR on the week the album came out (though guessing that probably wouldn't have happened anyway) - the album release coming forward a week should guarantee 'Physical' gets at least 12 weeks on SCR anyway, yay x

March 24, 20206 yr Album sales are a little higher than i expected for this week and good to see Kenny Rogers now top 5, is Niall Horan still Number 11?
March 24, 20206 yr I don't mind the Nathan Dawe track going top 40. Its rather cheesy like many of the dance covers from the heyday of dance covers in the charts, 2002 to 2005. I am glad Boss has another week top 40, although it probably won't get much higher sadly as it probably isn't going to get radio 1 playlisted or anything. March 24, 20206 yr I SCREAMED 'Saxe' I thought was pronounced 'sax' not 'sauce' though, am I right?
March 24, 20206 yr That Nathan Dawe track is a true brutal mutilation of a classic. It needs to be stopped.
March 24, 20206 yr That Nathan Dawe track is a true brutal mutilation of a classic. It needs to be stopped. A lot of Sugababes fans on Buzzjack will be dismayed that this charted but the Sugababes version didn't. I do like however how Nathan Dawe interpolated 'Never Gonna Leave You' into it to make it more interesting towards the end.
