They only managed to sell 4k outside of their pre-orders and Dua did almost 20k after first update of midweeks!!! The more tactic they have thrown the more it helped Dua in the end :lol: Also Dua added another prize when you purchase her album: 'Be an extra on Dua's music video with full hair and make up by her team and meet and greet with Dua' #shefights :wub: So when 5SOS does something it's a 'tactic', but when Dua does something she's a 'fighter'. #doublestandards :rolleyes:

April 2, 20205 yr And now Dua has reduced the price of her album again from £4.99 to £3.99 on iTunes Cuz this Ashton guy from 5SOS uploaded a video on Twitter half an hour ago saying they have the number 1 this week... He said *possibly* have the #1 and tbh the amount of orders I’ve seen from fans today has been incredible - also Dua had no signed CDs or vinyl for sale today so have relied on downloads for the final day only.

It's not like their fans weren't been aware of this tight race and they haven't bagged them to buy the album all week, so again, doesn't make sense. I’m not sure why they have reduced the downloads to £3.99 and CD to £4.99 when it’s clear the album will be a solid full price seller and hang around for ages, even if she doesn’t make #1 tomorrow which I’m sure she will then she would have easily got it next week... Even as a huge fan I know the 5SOS will be gone in 4 weeks!

April 2, 20205 yr I’ve also bought dua’s album, this chart battle is truly great and good for the customers wanting a cheap album
April 2, 20205 yr I haven't purchased an album since Prism because it's much easier to just stream and I've bought Dua because of this battle so they've certainly done their job!
April 2, 20205 yr Yeah 5SOS are my first non-Eurovision CD purchase in like 2-3 years, £4.99 was too much of a bargain to pass on :lol:
