Read my post above ^_^ ;)

Thanks.

We must have posted almost at the same time!!!

3 singles inside top 6 is nothing to be complaining about :P especially since one of them is already 5 months old and has been inside top 10 the whole time except for XMAS week!!!

I have bought Dua Lipa...I hated her last album (not a huge fan of her voice), but as I am stuck at home working all day it's worth a try at £3.99 as the reviews and clips are good (I don't Spotify). There's no way in hell I'd have paid full price so the chart battle has worked on me! 1 point to Dua Lipa.

However, I know there will be like 8 other versions of the album coming with new songs and I already know that will annoy me later on as I'll have the inferior version.

It's crazy, I really disliked her first album too (aside from a few of the singles) but I'm completely obsessed with this!

That growth from album 1 to 2, it's phenomenal.

I'm far from complaining, it would be just immense achievement for her to score 3 top 5 singles at time, and off course #1 album... I think Adele or Rihanna would be the only female act to have such result.
Hopefully she get a second week at #1 in the album chart next week, from what I can see from the release schedule so far... probably looking at MJ Cole and Purity Ring for potential top 10 entries, unless 5SoS do a complete u-turn, but I'm sure it will bomb.

They've only sold 5k since preorders so I would say they will fall down to No15 or so next week.

5SOS album is £3.99 and Dua is £4.99

What’s the lowest you can sell your album for but still have it chart eligible?

Even if 5SOS do somehow get back to #1 now (I don't think it's impossible, there are sometimes unexpected big bumps between Thursday and Friday presumably due to bundles not being reflected fully in the mids, see Selena Gomez), Dua's album sales have been pretty great this week, she'll be pretty comfortably getting a higher opening than any previous album this year bar BTS and Eminem. Impressive for her to be outdoing The Weeknd.

Young Adz continuing to avoid the top 15 singles after all *_*

I’ve noticed Liam Payne and Little mix have both done tweets in the last 24 hours encouraging fans to buy 5SOS album, Are they on the same label?

Little Mix are under the same management as 5SOS i think.

It's the dealer price that matters and that is £3.26 for physical albums and £3.75 for digital albums. It used to be £3.76 for physical albums but it changed last year. It could be a typo though and possibly should still be £3.76. The dealer can then sell the album for whatever price they want. I'm not sure why an album would be sold for £3.99, no-one can be making any profit from it.

Edit: I sent an email to the OCC and got a reply back straight away. From Week 1, 2019 the minimum dealer price for physical albums to qualify for the main albums chart was lowered to £3.26 from £3.76.

I think dua lipa has it now.little mix down to 8 I hope they hold top 10.

I think Little Mix should focus promoting their own single tbh

Also Dua added another prize when you purchase her album:

'Be an extra on Dua's music video with full hair and make up by her team and meet and greet with Dua'

#shefights
