So you guys did discount my rate. Thanks for that.
You gave Four Of Diamonds an 11 and you're IN that post.

If I've misses your score off in a post accidentally, a nice post asking if it had been counted woulda sufficed.

No need to be so rude. 🙄

Up next we have Cher Lloyd's 2nd single and a top 5 smash With Ur Love. Cher Lloyd famously helped Mike Posner get a hit with 'Cooler Than Me', so he returned the favour by featuring on this track for her. This was a lot more "sugary sweet" kind of pop in comparison to her abrasive, bratty-fied pop of her debut single. Next is the 3rd of 4 entries for Amelia Lily. Shut Up And Give Me Whatever You Got went on to be a 2nd top 20 hit for her and was more in line of the pop-rock route she was doing in the X Factor. A decent song and very catchy. However, it lost out on a tie to the next song as it received no 10's whilst Same Difference received 5 of them (as both tracks received a single 11 mark). We R One is one of the poppiest, catchiest and down right joyous tracks in pop. It's something straight out of High School Musical but with more heart and more wholesome. Amazing track that we don't get anymore!

At #32 is Ella Henderson's collaboration with Kygo Here For You. It was a fleeting top 20 hit for them as it peaked at #18 and spent one more week in the top 40, but ended up with a total 10 weeks in the top 75 overall. Not really a song I remember. Finally at #31 is the surprise top 20 hit Loving You by Matt Cardle which features girl group legend Melanie C. This ended up going top 10 on iTunes which took everyone by surprise at the time. A very good song, especially considering Matt Cardle's solo output before wasn't really anything worth writing home about.

You gave Four Of Diamonds an 11 and you're IN that post.

Ok apologies i was in a bad mood earlier. Sorry for being a dick. Thx for your hard work on this

Loving You should be top 10. Boo!

Btw Amelia's SUAGMWYG didn't go top 10 - it just missed out. :kink:

SUAGMWYG such a classic for me, one if my faves hence the 11. Hoped it would get a bit higher but expected her debut to be her highest placing

In this section and we say goodbye to 3 Ella Henderson tracks. Starting off with her 2 collaborations with dance producers, Glitterball & We Got Love. The former is very boring and the latter is the most recent collaboration, but I can't remember how it goes, but I gave it 6.5 so I must like it? Lol. It doesn't help that I think Ella's voice makes it sound like she's gargling water whilst trying to hit notes, so it puts me off a lot of the time. Her ballad and final single from her debut era, Yours, finishes at #28 ahead of the 2 Sigala tracks. Another bland affair for me.

Number 27 is the absolute BANGER Oath from Cher Lloyd by Cher Lloyd. This song is the song that the girls from the "Which one of yous has done a shet" video meme were going to sing to, before their mum barges in. Iconic. It's such a fantastic song! Very pop and just downright amazing. Deserved to be a huge hit. Louisa debut single that followed her coronation single is out next at #26. So Good is just that... SO GOOD! This was quite a unique song for an X Factor act who mostly performed ballads as a contestant, to come out with but it was such a right move. It went on to do OK in the charts where it peaked at #13 but spent a fair few weeks in the top 20 IIRC. Her better songs are all above this though! So, good call BJ!

'Glow' is such an underwhelming follow up to 'Ghost'. Why didn't she release 'Pieces'?!

The final section before moving onto the top 20. Kick starting us is the first proper single from Ben Haenow as his feature with Queen Kelly Clarkson makes a rather impressive showing and ends up at #25. Second Hand Heart was seen as a bit of an under performance from Ben. It managed 5 weeks top 40 but a peak of #21. It's a cute song and I'm really pleased with it's placing here. Nothing's Real But Love is next at 24. I can't tell if this is where I expected it to be or not... I think I expected it to be a bit higher, not that I'm complaining. I've always thought she's sounded like a goat was throwing up most of the time and this song is no exception. Misha B's up next with her debut single Home Run. The single missed the top 10 as it hit a dreaded number 11 peak! It's a good debut tbf, I think I under scored it. But I mostly voted from memory and I didn't really like it much at the time. The production is infectious!

At number 22 is a song that I never expected to be as high as this when I first started this rate considering it's essentially a good Westlife song... No Promises by Shayne Ward was a big hit for him and seemingly the perfect follow up to his HUGE coronation winning single 'That's My Goal'. The video seems to be inspired by the smash hit movie 'Ghost' and I was shocked to see that this video has 89m views! It's nearly VEVO Certified! Lmao. Finishing up the final section before the top 20, we have the 2nd of 3 Misha B tracks, Here's To Everything (Ooh La La). This was her 3rd single and 3rd top 40 hit, however unlike the first 2 singles this got a peak way further down at #35! A bit of a bop, but it was pretty different to the brilliant 'Do You Think Of Me' which preceeded it!

No Promises

One of my absolute favourite tracks to come from a X Factor act idk why I just love it.

Cher’s Oath stayed too long when some of her better tracks left before it IMO.

Glow is my favourite Ella track so I’m here for that to do well! Really underrated in my opinion and it showed versatility too. Empire as single 2 may not have worked bc it’s similar to Ghost.
