Did this not get a vinyl release from the same people that pressed Nicola Roberts' 'Cinderella Eyes' and Sophie Ellis-Bextor's 'Read My Lips' (their name escapes me)? Or at least they said they were interested in doing it.
Nope! They've handled Lisa Scott-Lee's album most recently though (Plastic Pop)

Plastic Pop - that's it! Must have just imagined it then but I could totally see them doing it.

I've just completed a listen of the album and it's such a strong pop album. A lot of Girls Aloud/Kylie vibes! I would definitely snatch up a vinyl if one were ever made.

I'd say it's a fairly safe bet we'll get this and Funky Dory on vinyl and deluxe anniversary reissues in the next couple of years. After all if Appleton have just issued their only album on two coloured vinyls this week there's nothing to say Rachel couldn't!

So Good was released 18 years ago(!!!) on this date - 4th July 2005 :drama:

A #10 smash which sold just under 30,000 copies in 2005, enough to make it the 212th best selling single of the year. A total injustice!

hating how many of these songs/albums are or about to reach 20 years old 😂
Was it after this song that she got dropped?

No - it was the single after this ("I Said Never Again") 👍

Still a banger. Honestly. The total shade and ignorance of the British record buying public of 2005. Buying f***ing Peter Kay and Amarillo and Crazy Frog by the truckload and leaving this album for dirt!

I am manifesting that this gets the anniversary flowers it deserves in 2025.

Oh actually this song is okay. I was confusing it with More More More  More More More, how do you get me feeling so good?

Truly an underrated era. Although I don't think Negotiate with love was a good choice for the first single. One underperforming single could tarnish the rest of a campaign and, as much as I love NWL, it wasn't the best choice. Also can't believe they slept on Nothing good about this goodbye that should have been the follow up to So Good.

I wonder what the chart run would have looked like with:

1. So good

2. Nothing good about this goodbye

3. I said never again.

I should point out my mother hated I said never again but here we are. I remember the video being on a music channel and she was like "this is horrendous, she is the most talentless popstar ever" I was all "shut your mouth woman!" lol

'So Good' really sounded like it should've been a bigger hit, but by that point it was obvious the wheels were starting to come off and she was going to struggle.
