The 00s were one of the only decades thst brought us that rare musical phenomenon: the mixed band. We had the two most successful, Steps and S Club 7 in a non-heated, rated-U rivalry, and then we had the rest: Liberty X, Hearsay, and S Club Juniors.

All of them had at least one big bop, but who did it best?

I've got to be honest: I don't really understand the concept of a mixed sex band. What is the point of the male singers in them?

I actually preferred Liberty X at the time due to their debut song and Just A Little Bit More. I preferred the personality of S Club 7, and watched their tv show, but aside from Don't Stop Moving and Never Had A Dream, I think Steps had the better songs. Hearsay were atrocious and I still don't understand the point of S Club Juniors.

Although, listening to the lack of vocal talent in Liberty X today makes me rethink my vote...

I have to give this one to S Club 7. They were the most consistently good.

S Club 7 all the way! They felt like a bit of a phenomenon back in the day. Miami 7 and their first two albums were played non-stop in my house. They definitely picked up the baton from the Spice Girls in a sense.

I liked the novelty of the S Club Juniors during their first era but grew out of S Club in general by the time they became S Club 8. The Puppy Love video is cute lol.

Again I enjoyed Steps' first album but grew bored of them afterwards and much preferred SC7. Last Thing On My Mind is a bop though.

Hear'Say and Liberty X were quite awful tbh although I loved Everybody when it was released, and Being Nobody (I don't know why they didn't just call it Ain't Nobody like the original lol) from the latter.

Although actually my favourite mixed group was technically the Corrs!

Who can deny these 00s smashes?

Liberty X were way better than they had any right to be for the reject reality pop group! I went for them but they all had their bops there

S Club 7! But Steps are amazing too *.* Difficult choices

I would love for The Black Eyes Peas to be included in this just for the lols  Low key would pick them over any others imo
