Westlife is a bit of a strange answer (no offence Chris Smith :P) considering the many #1 singles they had during the previous decade or two - due to the ambiguous wording of the question I didn't know whether the band should have no #1s full stop or just in that particular decade, so I had to play safe

Thought The Vamps would be an easy winner as they came close a few times and my other consideration, Union J, feel more forgotten

maybe Mack thought this was Pointless again?

I interpreted as a boyband with hits in the 2010s but no #1s during that time... Bit silly of me perhaps!

I'm glad that Union J came into my head eventually because it was M.A.D. / Reconnected territory at first

HAD to be 'Shape of You'!

oh i’m glad the vamps just about won that question - bts didn’t cross my mind.

that shape of you landslide *_

Well f*** you Ed...idk how to justify my "Perfect" answer, I clearly thought the Beyoncé stans would be out in force  or that Christmas #1 would have some sway :drama:

I almost asked for a little clarification on questions 3 & 8 but hey, it's more fun and unpredictable when questions can be interpreted in various ways!

Another rather tight one, I must say I was quite shocked to see Janet Jackson get such a high score here - I'd never have known she hasn't had a #1! A couple of interesting choices here... Shania Twain being a fantastic shout for Pointless, but unfortunately not so for Family Fortunes. Also, another inspired choice by Mack - "Lady Marmalade" was a thing ;) Mabel, probably the most obvious choice, gets a healthy score of 10, leading the way.

Halfway through, and it's rather tight so far between a close top 5. Good luck!

Another close one... "Higher Love", arguably the biggest dance tune of 2019 has a narrow lead here, giving 9 contestants a healthy 8 points. Some controversial definitions of "dance" here, such as "Don't Start Now", and "Dance Monkey"... but I can see where Chris and Scene were coming from (and besides, I did speak of the boundaries being loose.). Aaaand, the less said the better about KSI's "Down Like That" being chosen...

This isn’t going too bad so far. I think it’s going to go quite badly wrong for me quite quickly soon though

7. Name a Drake track that has hit the top 5 in the past 5 years.

In all honesty I was expecting "God's Plan" to sweep the floor here, with "In My Feelings" in a close second place. Instead, Drake's 2016 dancefloor banger "One Dance" amasses a remarkable 19 points. Huuuge. Other than that, not much to note - aside from "No Stylist" getting a mention (which didn't hit the top 5 :P).

there was a thread about the biggest act without a #1 and that was Janet Jackson, so I imagined people would remember that
My first thought was 'God's Plan' just because 'One Dance' feels like so long ago  but yeah, summer '16, so immediately changed!
