Posted April 13, 20205 yr Me and my boyfriend just had a passionate and heated exchange over these, so I thought it'd be fun on here too! Obv we all have different views of overrated, it can be in terms of fans or that they made it too high in the season. For me: OVERRATED: S1: Bebe (should not have won even then, let alone when you compare her to other winners and even in terms of AS3!) S2: Tyra (I think she was on a bit of a pedestal and could do no wrong in Ru's eyes) S3: Yara (she just seemed to do shit all the time but it was like "her English isn't perfect so it's ok!!1") S4: Latrice (she was shit in like every challenge but said "get those nuts away from my face" and did an amazing lipsync so is a fan fave? AS4 just brought her down even more for me) S5: Alyssa (well documented how I just don't find her funny at all) S6: Courtney in terms of the show, love her since tho S7: Kennedy (I'll give her Snatch Game, but 4th was way too high) S8: Naomi (by both fans and her placing, she's very "look at me I have legs" and not much more, she gave a bit more on AS4 but I was just not a fan either way) S9: Valentina (the ultimate "being pretty is enough" queen, oddly I feel like she deserved more on AS4 but on S9 the fans were ridic I feel) S10: Asia (just not a fan, something missing for me) S11: Silky in terms of the show but obv the fans rated her appropriately S12: Jan oops, in terms of the fans UNDERRATED: (in most of these cases I think they maybe did the show too early and could have done with a bit of time to develop) S1: Jade (overshadowed all season, deserved more) S2: Sahara (I feel like she's only remembered for her death, that sounds AWFUL but I think the way she was so gracious and poised deserves a lot of respect) S3: Mariah (I always feel she had more to give and from WOW stuff etc. we're seeing it now) S4: Dida (the fact she's a bit of a meme and her looks were shit overshadows the obvious talent, I mean the best lipsync ever speaks for itself) S5: Lineysha (a real victim of the language barrier, I think she had loads to give) S6: April (I mean the April showers look... It's such a shame she never got more of a chance) S7: Miss Fame (she's one of those I forget about but whenever I watch S7 I realise she deserves more than she gets!) S8: Laila McQueen (her looks now have come on so much) S9: Jaymes Mansfield (if you look at her since, you'll see she NEEDS another chance) S10: Yuhua Hamasaki (anyone named after Ayu is fine by me, I feel like she could have done with a year or two more but her week 1 look showed her potential that never quite came again all season) S11: Shuga Cain (she was just so nice!! Even if she was a bit of a mess I loved her) S12: Rock M. Sakura (maybe just needed a couple of years)
April 14, 20205 yr Leave Jan alone! she's a beautiful star Sharon was pretty overrated, I didn't like her personality much on the show. I'm with you on Alyssa & the love for Joslyn Fox confused me too, she was pretty annoying.
April 14, 20205 yr I loved Yara! :lol: Fair enough she was a bit of a mess at times but there's something about her that you just want to root for. The most overrated that come to my mind without a second thought: Silky - she may have a big personality (or just a loud voice) but I don't think she deserved to make the final let alone the last half of the season!

April 14, 20205 yr I always found Ariel Versace to be underrated, her Miranda Sings snatch game would've been amazing Other than that, Rock M, Nicki Doll, April, Jiggly and Scarlet Envy are my most obvious ones. I am also in the minority of loving The Vixen too.

April 14, 20205 yr I actually quite liked The Princess in her season Ugh Kenya Michaels getting 6th in her season is heinous, there was just nothing to her.
April 14, 20205 yr Naomi I think really proved herself as more than just a fashion queen on AS4 Overrated- 1- Tammie Brown- never really been my kind of humour but she is fascinating 2- Tyra- over so many queens how did she win 3- Manila- exceptional in challenges but has never had that warm a personality for me 4- Latrice- AS4 really put me off her 5- Alyssa- brilliant personality but not the best at challenges 6- Laganja- don’t know why she’s so loved and people want her back for All Stars so bad 7- Trixie- bare minimum comedy 8- Kim- I do like Kim but I think she’s arguable more one trick than Naomi 9- Trinity- again brilliant in challenges but didn’t have a warm personality for me 10- Aquaria- Asia for the win all the way 11- Yvie- drag aesthetic just isn’t for me 12- Rock- I don’t really see why stan’s have become so obsessed with her although I do appreciate she was fun on the show Underrated- 1- Nina- the deserved winner for me- has pulled some great looks 2- Jessica- so fun to watch the whole season 3- Mariah/ Yara- both just had great personalities and would love to see them get more love from the fan base 4- Dida- best lipsync of all time I said what I said 5- Lineysha- pulled some great great looks 6- Joslyn- deserved a win or 2 me thinks from her season- my personal winner of the Scream Queens challenge- her Snatch Game was also hilarious 7- Mrs Kasha Davis- truly deserved the Glamazonian Airways won, robbed 8- Thorgy- HOW HOW did she not win a challenge 9- Peppermint- one of the most lovable contestants ever??? Seems to sweet and genuine 10- Asia- deserves more love for some of the looks she pulled 11- Scarlet- truly, truly robbed wow 12- Widow- has been brilliant in most episodes so far but sadly isn’t white and skinny like Gigi so will never get the love from the Drag Race stans :/
April 14, 20205 yr I've seen 5-12 so I will go with that: Overrated: 05 - Jade Jolie 06 - Joslyn Fox (Darienne Lake was close here) 07 - Pearl (really like her but top three is a no) 08 - Derrick Barry 09 - Alexis Michelle (about right for her performance on S9 but other queens below have done better since) 10 - Kameron Michaels (Eureka was close) - good queens just not top 3 standard 11 - Silky Nutmeg Ganache (her appeal is very US trash reality TV show) Underrated: 05 Lineysha Sparx 06 Gia Gunn 07 Max (Mrs Kasha Davis was a close 2nd) 08 Thorgy Thor (very unlucky not to win a challenge - so many high moments!) 09 Valentina (she defo deserved to go for the lip-sync - just a shame really) 10 Monique Heart (glad she got her Rudemption on AS4) 11 Scarlet Envy Season 9 was the most fairly judged season imo so I struggle with my choices there. Looking back there's so many queens who might as well have not turned up tbh! Season 5 all bottom 5 were poor. 7 and 8 both had a few who's? right at the bottom.
