'Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light' will bring audiences across Europe and around the world together on 16 May for a very special show. 46 broadcasters have picked up the show: here's where you can watch it!

Following the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, the EBU and its Dutch Members NPO, NOS and AVROTROS confirmed they will produce Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light to air in place of the Grand Final on Saturday 16 May at 21:00 CEST.

The show will honour all 41 participating entries in a non-competitive format and provide all kinds of surprises for viewers at home along the way. It will also bring together 2020’s artists, from their locations across Europe, in a unifying performance of Eurovision 1997's Love Shine A Light by Katrina And The Waves.

Just like the Eurovision Song Contest would have been, the show will be hosted by Dutch Eurovision presenters Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley (Eurovision 1998 and 2007) and Jan Smit.

As a special feature, the EBU will bring Eurovision fans together for an unforgettable virtual sing-a-long on screen. Fans from across the world will dress up and form a huge Eurovision choir and sing Johnny Logan's What's Another Year. You won't want to miss this!

So the BBC have made a statement and apparently them 'airing' the show is them putting it on iPlayer, whilst airing their own "Eurovision: Come Together" on BBC1

Scrap that - they're showing 'Come Together' at 6:30pm to be followed by 'Europe Shine a Light' at 8pm :D (whether this was the original plan all along who knows..:P)

BBC have "Come Together" starting in 15 minutes as a pre-show for the Europe Shine A Light Broadcast. I expect it'll mostly be a clip show but I'll take whatever I can for Eurovision content this year!
Most of those feels are currently pure hatred.

I have very low expectations so I am currently not too disappointed

Every single thing about this has been misjudged - the awards show style messages, the 2020 songs taking up about 20 minutes combined, the funeral atmosphere, Norton being the wrong side of sarky isn't listing the mood - I really hate it Cathy!

Jumping back in at 10 for Rylan's A-Z of Eurovision but for now, I'm out!

Some of these tracks are not even doing it for me, Iceland's entry is really pants

The only countries that really stick out form those 30 second snippets so far, is Norway, Armenia, Australia and Lithuania. Lithuania could have done well in this year's competition, probably a runaway winner.

Was the ending confirmation that a contest in 2021 will take place, audience or no audience?! :o

I'm glad we only got 30 seconds of that Russian effort.
