Out of the 2 which do you prefer. With both I find musically they both get UK success sporadically and as the momentum builds they fade away again.

I think Demi is more talented for sure but her music can be hit and miss (I Love Me is an atrocity against god omfg) and Selena uses the talent she has better although her singing voice is lowkey one of the weakest in pop oop.

Selena. I only really like a few of her songs though - Bad Liar and Hands To Myself being the main two.

 

I like Demi as a person but other than Cool For The Summer and kind of the new Sam collab I don't really like her music.

Selena! I love Demi too but Selena's one of the most consistent artists around, she hasn't put out a bad single in a LONG time and generally I prefer her albums too.

Can't say I care for either but Demi has one or two songs I like which is more than Selena does. She's just a nonentity

The only demi song I really like is up with Olly Murs, I'm not a huge follower of either but prefer selena gomez overall.

I voted Selena, but the Rare era has been tragic.

Def agree that both have good and bad moments and with albums I find it's like it's with every second release

Selena is the nicer person of the two of them but if I was to buy one of their albums I’d probably buy Demi’s.

 

Selenas never really grabbed me musically where as Demi has (her Tell Me You Love Me) album for example is very very good! She’s probably the more talented one musically of the two of them even if she is perhaps not as versatile with her voice. Like with Demi because she’s a belter etc it can seem she always screams to some people where as Selena may have a more versatile voice but she’s less technically good.... is that a good way of putting it?

 

It’s interesting how both of them have failed to really take off in the UK though like they’ve never managed to translate their singles success into getting albums success the way Miley and Ariana did.

Generally prefer Selena's music lately, but it used to be the complete opposite :lol: My opinion changes era to era tbh - both are great artists in their own rights

Selena has had the bigger uk and ireland career and I would both might have some of the same fans.

Demi for me as I generally like her songs more & she is the stronger vocalist. I think I only like 3 of Selena's, "Hands to Myself" being my favourite.

In the UK they probably are classed like B or even C list!

 

They both lack a signature hit here too and also both for some reason can’t sell albums.

I would say I don't really care for a majority of the discog from both of them but Selena has much higher highs and Demi has much lower lows so I'd say I prefer Selena pretty easily.

Don't really check for either but Selena has better singles discography than Demi, so I voted for Selena.

Voted for Selena just bc she seems much nicer as a person. Musically I think that Demi has few better bops.
