According to the papers the album chart is:

1. The Beatles

2. Oasis

3. U2

4. Westlife

and apparently after 1st day sales 200 copies seperate the beatles and oasis. which in my opinion is more believeable (no disrespect to anyone) but beatles, u2 and oasis are more popular. although i dont like any. just thought id ;let you know what i heard. i want oasis to get it jus cos i dont like any of them but oasis are from manchester.

i think it was in the daily star, the one with bratney on the front.

I think it would be better to trust Music Week. The papers generally do not get any reliable midweek information by Monday evening. They have probably just asked a few shops round London.

The Daily Star, not really a great fan of that paper, I think I stick to the MW report, until there is further chart info.

Dire album chart least those Irish hags aren't #1 though.

Emma will drop I suspsect but top 5 looks definate - very surprising but good for her in the longrun I guess.

And wooo Nelly top 40 again - fingers crossed for a 3rd top 10 next week something she has never achieved with past albums.

Really hope Emma can keep that position but it is doubtful as Children In Need promotion is obviously coming to an end.

Still great though. :D

Yes lets hope Children In Need boosts her career in the same way it boosted Liberty X's eh? ;)

Well! :o

Im off to buy Oasis this evening, will do my bit to stop Wetflies :D

Fab for Take That and Emma though in the singles!

The papers write what they want and what they dream.

Ahem. No arguments today, please :)

The MW report is the accurate one.

Any info where Christina is? Emma :cheer:

We only have what the rather vague MW report says at the moment. Hopefully we will get Top 20's later on.

I meant the longrun as in this single sugar.

How many other of the wrinkled Spice whores have managed a top 5 hit recently? The last was Geri in 2004 or something.

It's pretty obvious her album and any future releases will flop sugarpie.

Something doesn't sit right about Emma attempting to relaunch her flagging career on the back of a charity single. Plus anything she releases after this WILL flop and she'll be gone whether we like it or not.

Good stuff for Nelly being highest d/l only... Hope it can climb as the week progresses :D

Not much else to say for the moment, everything is still a lil' vague :(

Really pleased for Emma :cheer:

Bit surprised at Westlife to be honest, but pleased nevertheless :D

Gonna be a big week this week, wonder what the top 2 albums will eventually sell, 250,000 maybe? With Beatles well over 100k ?
...... I hope The Beatles have the number one album and Take That go to number one with the lovely 'Patience'.
