Time Flies....1994 - 2009 was the second Greatest Hits compilation from Oasis. 'Stop The Clocks' came out in 2006 as the first Greatest Hits album, but only featured 18 tracks which were chosen by Noel Gallagher and came about at the end of their record contract with Sony. Time Flies...1994-2009 got released on the 14th June 2010 containing all 27 singles the band had released between 1994 and 2009 including 'Whatever and 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' which had never appeared on any previous Oasis studio album. 'Sunday Morning Call' is not listed on the official tracklisting, but appears as a hidden track on the end of Disc 2 making it track 14, so I've decided to allow it in the rate.

Released as the first single from the bands second studio album 'What's The Story Morning Glory', 'Some Might Say' became the bands first Number 1 single in the UK and a track Noel claims is is the 'archetypical Oasis song' and 'defines what Oasis is'. It was the last Oasis track to feature original drummer Tony McCarroll, who was asked to leave the band before the main recording sessions for (What's the Story) Morning Glory? when tensions arose between McCarroll and Noel Gallagher. The rest of the tracks on the album feature his replacement Alan White on drums. Oasis performed the song on two episodes of Top of the Pops, the first being McCarroll's final performance with the band and the second being White's first.

The B Sides to 'Some Might Say' were "Talk Tonight","Acquiesce" and "Headshrinker" with 'Acquiessce' being featured on the bands other best of album 'Stop The Clocks' along with 'Some Might Say'.

it's actually surprising Wonderwall made it to the top 3

Live Forever. Fab but not quite fab enough to be top 2.

Cue spitting from Wonderwall under-appreciators... (You're going to love my top 800 listing then... :heehee: )

Wonderwall is still my choice to go, I definitely really liked it when the album was released but I much prefer the other two now.
We may as well get to the final as it’s a runaway winner (loser) in this round already.
