I love the Dannii with the Goldfish picture. I would have loved this as an alternative picture as the album cover.

To think this would have smashed top 20 in Australia if she did a bundle pack of Girl and sign in here. Such a missed moment to give Girl the better new chart peak it deserved.

Yeah chart peaks don't mean much today and it's more sales. But it's nice for our Dannii to have since her music career was short. Does it make Girl a success no, but it's for us to enjoy.

On the one hand the extra exposure will be helpful for its sales, but on the other it's now a part of a week that'll be highly competitive, with approaching 50 National Album Day titles vying for a place in the Top 200. That's before taking into account new releases, such as Agnetha, Holly Humberstone, Troye Sivan, Ringo Starr :drama:

 

Could be a case of Dannii entering a low-ish position with sales that are typically higher than is needed for whatever the position is.

 

I suppose she/the label likely won't mind where it lands, as long as they sell as much as possible.

It would be just Danniis luck for something like to happen to Danni.

When the release was announced I thought it would lead to a new chart peak but now I'm just hoping it can make the top 100.

I guess the plus to it’s inclusion in NAD is the fact places are stocking both versions - I’ve seen the CD boxset and vinyl listed on HMV and indies so it’ll help with exposure and most other titles only have one version, although the price point makes it less of an impulse buy I guess.

You think 1500 copies was made of the vinyl?

 

I read for the Mel C Northern Star release only 1500 copies available!

She could easily perform a small theatre tour here in the UK. I wish she'd consider it.
