Managed to get #1 in the US. Not thrilled that this is a #1 when songs like NTLTC aren't but its better than 6ix9ine

Ariana now tying the record for most #1 debuts (also tied by Drake a few weeks ago and Justin Bieber as well this week, so Mariah has gone from being the only holder of that record to being in a 4 way tie in the space of like a month :lol:) and being the first act to get #1 debuts in three consecutive years. :clap:

Never realised how rare US debuts are to be honest until I followed this forum fascinating tbh!

#1 debuts have become a lot more common in recent years to be fair (they're a lot easier to achieve since streaming has become so heavily weighted, I think the main reason they used to be so rare is because radio is very slow to adopt new songs which is still the case now ('Stuck With U' is only #33 on Radio Songs this week) but it's easier for songs to make up for slow radio starts with massive opening streaming weeks than it used to be with opening week sales).

 

Ariana, Drake and Justin definitely all have the potential to pull ahead of Mariah, just a question of who does it first.
