I am just after finding this interview with Kylie(never seen it before) around the launch of Impossible Princess, it’s my first time seeing Kylie snap (and rightly so). I dont the interviewer was much of a fan along with obviously been very inexperienced.

This is a great montage of songs from around the time of IP but not all on the album, its great getting all the clips of the songs rolled into one song and in denial stands out so strong among all the other songs.

I cant believe i never saw it either :o , obviously the interviewer done no research at all when he said about the name not been original, but you could see the Dannii question rightly pi**ed her off. I was half expecting her to walk off to throw a glass of water over him.

I love how refined Kylie is even when she is angry.

In her career there are very very few times like this - the ultimate professional pop Queen :cheeseblock:

Thanks for posting this, haven't seen it for a long time, that interviewer was a complete amateur asking those STUPID! questions which completely backfired, I wouldn't be surprised if he was demoted after that, totally unprofessional. Kylie handled that situation with such grace, even when annoyed, she's still refined where anyone else would have slapped him. How dare he talk to an ICON like that.

There's also this iconic mess of an interview (just excuse the outdated use of the word 'retarded'):

What an awful interviewer :drama:

Kylie could have almost got her ‘But it’s B-list at Capital’ moment there

That 2004 interview was as bad, she had that same tone again, such stupid questions to ask her tal kn about people messing up.

I wish it was still disappointing for Kylie to 'only' be #5 in the charts. :(

Exactly :nocheer: To think that a Top 5 debut was a disappointment.

The charts were fierce back then though - RBW went up against Britney’s ‘Toxic’ and George Michael’s comeback ‘Amazing’ plus the novelty of DJ Casper.

Very competitive week, in fact 'Red Blooded Woman' sold nearly as many as 'Slow' in its first week. It would have been #3 in both weeks either side had it still sold the same amount.

Ya for a top 5 to be seen as disappointment was such a negative start to the questions.

The first interview I have seen numerous times and enjoy it.

I love the composure she manages to hold, showing her professional elegance yet stern and professional.

The second one like the first, has pathetic questions for an icon.

If I ever got to meet kylie or interview her I def wouldnt waste the opportunity with these type of stupid questions on her. In the IP one how the interviewer didnt even know about the album name change shows how little he knew about the whole album.

It is unprofessional to waste such an opportunity with ridiculous questions and not have carried out any research.

In the second interview, Kylie's popularity was at such greater levels than at the launch of Impossible Princess so it was an even greater cockup by the interviewer.

Getting an interview with Kylie would not be easy to achieve.

Ya kylie was still a huge name on the release of red blooded woman so it made less sense and was following up on her 7th number 1 single.

I remember back in 2004 someone remixed this into a song, and it had the "how can you be so stupid?" part looped as the refrain.
