It’s down to £15 for the black vinyl which is already low for a new release and the pink one was around £10 recently.

Such an aggressive discount…sure they’d have sold the same amount at £10 or even towards £15.

 

Though 500 plus is a fair amount of oversupply of a niche product. Be interesting to see what happens with the Aquamarine one via her store…surely there’s a few of those gathering dust.

They might line them up next for good discounts.

It's a shame I general that vinyl is so expensive as if the prices were lower I think vinyls would pick up far more general sales.

Price of vinyl now is how the cost of physicals should have evolved to with inflation etc but file sharing destroyed the market late 90s onwards.

 

People just think CD and vinyl is ‘expensive’ if priced above £15….because they’re so used to seeing CD reduced to £1-5.

 

The public don’t value the actual music and art.

How accurate the Amazon counter is too - last I saw it said they had sold 400+.

Thats a very decent result indeed and one we were not expecting.

The vinyl is back in stock at Amazon but for £26, let’s hope they have another price cut soon.

I'd say we will see the price floating up and down so they can chance their arm getting sales on the high price.

At the moment it's not being sold directly by Amazon, just from sellers using Amazon to sell items. So I think the £26 and above prices will likely stay the same from those stores. It needs to be back in stock from Amazon itself for those random price cuts to occur.
