Love these girls I’ve been following them for a while now . They were discovered by Beyoncé Knowles herself years ago and signed/mentored by her on her label Parkwood Entertainment . There first Album The Kids Alright was Grammy nominated in 2019 and had standout songs such as Happy Without Me , Everywhere, and Down .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There back with there new single Do It and a New Album called Ungodly Hour to be released June 5th . The video and song for Do It was released today .

 

 

 

So excited for this new era from them. There debut was one of my favourites of 2018 . There very underrated still imo so I’m ready for them to properly break out and get that chart success . Halle is also going to be Ariel in the live action remake of Little Mermaid .

I listened to “Do It” before and thought it was pretty nice.

 

I think it can’t be long before they get a song that catches on. Maybe when the Little Mermaid soundtrack is released.

Do It is really good. I’m ready for them to properly breakout as they are massively talented .

Do It has over 1 million videos and 11 currently on US iTunes it’s off to a good start :)

They really are so talented. Also I’m gonna need Do It to be a hit somewhere it’s by far one of my favourite songs for far this year !

Do It is such a bop omg, im so excited for the album tonight!

This album feels like a nice progression for the girls. I was kind of expecting it go even harder due to how perfect 'Do It' was, but it is still a massive step forward from their debut album.

 

'Forgive Me' is the perfect second single, and feels like it is on the same level as 'Do It'. My other standouts are 'ROYL', 'Busy Boy', 'Baby Girl', 'Don't Make It Harder on Me' and the Disclosure produced title track 'Ungodly Hour'.

 

The video just released for 'Forgive Me' is perfection once again.

I listened to the album on my lunch break and really enjoyed it.

 

Forgive Me & Busy Boy were clear highlights from the new songs. I can't wait to watch the video for 'Forgive Me', the thumbnail looks great. :)

Wonder What She Thinks Of Me

 

But the overall album really is strong and I have a feeling certain songs will get better and grown even more when I listen again. The way they’ve matured so naturally as well is so great .

 

There also number 1 on US iTunes in the album charts which is great :D

Wow just Wow

 

This album is just it . I’m finding it hard to even pick stand out tracks as it’s such a solid level and my opinion keeps changing on certain songs the more I listen to the whole thing . Even Catch Up which wasn’t my favourite by them sounds so much better in the context of the album . Definitely one of my favourite albums this year so far , glad to see it number 1 on US iTunes as well.

 

Also Ungodly Hour the song ... Disclosure DID THAT !

They’ve been gradually building a stable fan base over the years . I think also Beyonce posted about the album being out as well which would have helped also . Would love it to get there officially but I would just be happy with it going top 10 at least hopefully !

I am very impressed with this after one listen — the production is especially stellar.

Listened to this a couple of times now, there's something very "if Lorde did an R&B album" about this. I'm liking this though. I still need a few more listens to pin point my favourites, but 'Ungodly Hour' is a standout. I'll be surprised if that doesn't get some form of single treatment and a push. Tag Disclosure's name on for the UK release and I'm confident it'd catch on here tbh.

The title track is STUNNING.

The way I keep coming back to this album all weekend ... it’s really an Album of the year contender for me imo !
