May 21, 20205 yr Nobody answered my question about whether Paradise Lost can stay Top 25/30 with Obsidian? Goth metal isn't my thing but I went to school with 3 of the band at Crossley Heath School in Halifax so have followed their career and success in Europe with interest. 25 years between Top 30 albums is a long time to wait even though I know it is because of low sales. Their Wiki says they have had 5 top 10 albums in Germany and Finland and success in France, Sweden and the Netherlands if Suedehead wants to mention that in his Chart roundup tomorrow
May 21, 20205 yr Unlikely that they’ll remain top 30 at the current rate they’re selling. should be able to hang on to top 40 though.
May 21, 20205 yr Thanks. Think that still counts as success given that none of their previous 5 albums have made the Top 50
May 21, 20205 yr Thanks. Think that still counts as success given that none of their previous 5 albums have made the Top 50 Apparently Obsidian is their 16th studio album! Their last to reach the top 50 was One Second (their 6th album) in 1997, almost certain that this one is going to finish there and as Dan says it's likely to be top 40 as well.

May 21, 20205 yr Any infos about iceland entry? Still #44, 318 behind #40. Watermelon Sugar seems more likely to make the top 40 now than Think About Things as it's #46 and selling faster.
May 21, 20205 yr Any news on surf mesa One place lower than Think About Things, selling more than that is but less than Watermelon Sugar (which is one place below Surf Mesa).
May 21, 20205 yr any chance Dedicated Side B may enter the top 100 with 1 day of sales? It's #44 on iTunes and was there within an hour of release
