I feel it's likely Katy will stay top 40, at least I hope so!

Coming for #41 :D

Any info on where the Jonas Brothers single is today please? Has it climbed at all from Monday's position of #69?

It has not climbed, still top 80 though.

Few bits of extra sales info from Music Week -

The Official Charts Midweek Sales Flash is in, and Lewis Capaldi is set for another return to the albums chart summit.

Capaldi's triple platinum Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent has moved back to the top on sales of 5,197. Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia (4,118 sales) leads the chasing pack, followed by new entries All That Glue (No.3, 3,269 sales) by Sleaford Mods and High Off Life (No.4, 2,908 sales) by Future.

There are also new entries for The Goat (No.7, 2,459 sales) by Polo G and Reunions (No.8, 2,443 sales) by Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit.

Rockstar by DaBaby ft. Roddy Ricch is well out in front as it bids for a second week as singles No.1. Its sales of 32,855 give the track a healthy advantage over No.2 Toosie Slide by Drake, which has moved 21,620. The Top 5 is completed by Doja Cat's Say So (No.3, 21,556 sales), Death Bed (No.4, 21,495 sales) by Powfu ft. Beadadoobee and Rover (No.5, 20,086 sales) by S1mba ft. DTG.

Hope that Katy can hang onto a top 40 debut, it's a pretty good song from her (could have done with the chorus being a little less shouty but it doesn't entirely ruin it x).

Is DaBaby at the point where he'd still be ahead of The Weeknd even on SCR yet? Looks like he must be at least fairly close to that (maybe he'd still be a couple thousand behind).

Last week DaBaby was still more than 11k behind Blinding Lights on SCR! Rockstar is doing much better this week than last week though, so it might be a lot closer this time.

not sure about earlier in the week but right now DaBaby is sure doing better than BL

DaBaby is now #1 on Spotify (with >100K lead), Apple Music, Amazon Streaming

and ahead of BL on Youtube too... DaBaby is only behind on iTunes but not by much either (BL is on 0.93 and DaBaby on 0.65)

a 100K lead on Spotify is a lot of streaming points actually

was checking the Youtube chart right now and was suprised to see:

14 NEW Daði Freyr Pétursson - Think About Things (Daði Freyr Pétursson & Gagnamagnið)

nice he's got some YT streaming points too

Unfortunately Dadi has done what I thought he might and faded badly on iTunes today. Does that mean his chance of Top 40 has gone?

That depends on how the song does on streaming platforms

~400 sales

hmm okay thank you, I wonder if that would be achievable? do we know if its increasing more than the #10 or less?

I hope Charli at least stays Top 40 with the album by the end of the week. That being said, it's quite clear this album was never intended to sell many records, I believe everything she says when she says it's all come off her own back and isn't a "label push" so to speak.

A new remix of The Weeknd’s In Your Eyes with Doja Cat is now out. I expect this to elevate the track to a new peak in the coming weeks.

Doja Cat sounds great on it and harmonises well with Sir Abel.
