You think? I think Liverpool peaked around the middle of last year. Think City will come back next year, they've been a bit off but not by much and that's with the exceptional standards of the previous two years. Would be surprised if Liverpool weren't top 3 but surprised to see them winning so easily.

Everyone thought City would dominate for years judging by them breaking all the records the past 2 seasons and now look at them, one of the worst title defences of all time. Much can change from one season to the next!

Yeah that's true, at the beginning of the season I thought City would win around about as many games as they won in the past two seasons especially when they beat West Ham 5-0 on the opening weekend. Realistically it's only a lack of motivation from the players that would see Liverpool's standards drop massively next season but at the same time other teams need to step up. It will be a well deserved title for Liverpool, easily the best team this season who have proved me and other doubters at the start of the season wrong.

It's been good to see the likes of Leicester, Wolves and in particular Sheffield United individually do well this season though.

I’d say Liverpool would be well placed to win the league next year again. Presumably the first XI is kept near enough intact and if there are any major outgoings id also expect a major incoming too. The issue will be the inevitable transition over the next 2-3 years before Klopp hands the reigns over. Anyway for me it’s just all about winning the league title, been so long. And if we get to break some records along the way that’s a bonus!

Yeh things change quite quickly in football, it's so hard to maintain a level of excellence to win the league more than 3 years in a row!

Rumours Gini moving to Italy in June already!

Oh dear, the Daily Mail will explode.

Premier League clubs have voted to change the summer transfer window to bring it in line with the rest of Europe.

For the past two seasons, the window in England has closed the day before the top-flight campaign began.

In a statement, the Premier League said the deadline has been changed to the "traditional point at the end of August/early September".

The 2020 closing date will be 1 September at 17:00 BST.

Saying that the Daily Mail has exploded as Suedehead2 said it would.

Silly that, teams won't be able to settle until September then!
Manchester United believe the Scum newspaper had “advance notice” of the attack on the house of Ed Woodward and have filed a complaint to Ipso, the media watchdog.
They are awful. Saw a lot of praise for Potter initially but they're sleepwalking to relegation. Should stuck with Hughton?

Brighton remind me a bit of Wigan from a few years ago. A team that hovers around the relegation zone each season but just about does enough to stay up by the end, if they survive again this season then it probably wont be too long until they do eventually go down. Norwich and West Ham look worse than them at the moment, when it comes to Watford, Aston Villa and Bournemouth their form is all over the place. It looks like it will be 3 out of those teams that will get relegated.

It's a coincidence that both postponed matches this season have involved West Ham. It's just delaying the inevitable for them in all likelihood!
Manchester United have banned new signing Odion Ighalo from the club's training ground due to fears over Coronavirus.

Nuno Espirito Santo says Wolverhampton Wanderers "is my life" but revealed he has had no talks about a new contract.

The Portuguese coach, appointed in May 2017, signed a new deal last July, committing him to the Premier League club until 2021.

Wolves are ninth in the Premier League under Nuno, who took them to promotion from the Championship in 2018.

"I have not had a proposal. I have one year more of my contract and I don't think about that," he said.

"When you sign something, you stick to it or you don't."

Wolves to take Man City place in Champions League if they finish 5th???? could happen.
I must say, despite all the games being televised, I don't like this staggered gameweek at all! Get why they're doing it but as a selfish spectator, it's awful.
