June 4, 20205 yr I wonder how Gagas sales will be tomorrow. We have two days of data to be added on for the final update and then potentially physicals from her store top if they haven’t already been counted as well as paid for sales today from iTunes, HMV, Amazon etc. I’m guessing it’ll outsell Lovers opening week tbh. I’m definitely expecting strong longevity for this. Hoping she can get herself a second week at #1. Her last pop albums went 1-9 with ARTPOP and 3-14 with Joanne so I’m definitely expecting better longevity than those.

June 4, 20205 yr Sadly pop music fans have an obsession with pitting women's success against one another. I remember it being done with Whitney and Madonna in the 80s and Mariah and Whitney in the 90s.

June 4, 20205 yr Pretty shocked that Alex Benjamin isn't going to get a top 40 album, especially when sales are so low. I thought he had a fairly decent fanbase in the UK- certainly enough to sell 3k albums.
