May 31, 20205 yr I don’t think so. Artists tend to have their biggest opening weeks with the album that follows their most successful era.

So if Ed could conjure up 400k+ ish sales for Divide, it should make more sense as to how easy it was for Lady Gaga to garner 216k sales for BTW back in 2011.
May 31, 20205 yr Insane sales for Lady Gaga! I’m going for 55k-60k sales in total; so she should clear Taylor Swift’s 53k. On the more optimistic side, I’d say it could clear 65k-75k.
